I've been playing League for a small sum of time, but despite my efforts, I still play horribly. Could you possibly add my on the game and give me some private lessons? Thanks, I appreciate it...
My ign is, as follows: aaron the awsome
Yes, I know I spelled "awesome" wrong.

Anyway, thanks! I really would appreciate it!

From your guide, at the top: "If you like to add me on League please leave your IGN in the comment box."

One issue I have with this guide is you started saying things like "AD Carry" and "AP Carry" without clarifying what the difference is.

Mobafire needs more writers like you, very nice read! I'm not a new player but I still enjoyed reading through it just to brush up on my knowledge :P

Thank you :3 This guide needs a lot more added to it. I've been writing little by little in Word lol. Your vote made my day (:

Great guide! This has been very useful for me as a beginner.

I was wondering, though, why certain roles are better suited to certain lanes. For example why do AD carry and support go bottom as opposed to top?

This is a very good question. I'm going to explain this the best I can.

1) Supports really don't need access to top lane or be in middle lane to ward because no one is going to try Baron during the laning phase. On the other hand, Dragon is always up for grabs. I mean really think about it,are you going to ward baron at level 4? Most likely not.

2) You don't send AP mid just because they are AP. You send them mid because either you want to leverage someone with strong mid-game scaling (either by early-mid burst like LeBlanc, or by a strong ult like Pantheon or Karthus) in the position where they have the best access to top and bottom lane ganks...... OR.... you're running a champion explicitly designed to counter such a champion (Kassadin, Talon, etc.)
It's not because they are an AP Carry per say.

3.) AD carries have the strongest late game power. Unless the ADC get's fed he/she is not going to be able to gank the other two lanes.

Now, I have seen people break the meta and so have I at times. I've seen people take Voli as a support. It seems to work in normal 5v5's but not ranked. I've also taken Miss Fortune mid (just for giggles and we won)

Anyways, I hope this helps a little and if ANYONE wants to tell me I'm wrong feel free to clear up my confusion. lol.

'A carry is champion who is weak in the begging, but can become really strong towards the end. I personally play as a carry. A carry is suppose to 'carry' you to victory. These champions are usually high team DPS with a high amount of maneuverability / escaping ability, making it easier to get very positive kill/death ratios. You have to make sure you build your carry right for him/her to be strong just like you would any other champion. Examples of a carry are Ashe, Miss Fortune, Varus, and Vayne.'

I don't know if that is intended (forgive me if it is) but there's a spelling mistake there.

lol, I agree with Max. All this extra information really would have been nice in the MobaFire Wiki, instead of in a guide.

Meh, lol. It was originally for a friend and my little brother, but they stopped playing. I was gonna have it locked, but a lot of people were like nooo keep it up, so I decided to keep it up. Oh well lol.
