Ability Order
Happy Hour (PASSIVE)
Gragas Passive Ability
Introduction
YES YES:
Flash: Great spell for in drastic need of escaping in a losing situation. 5/5
Ignite: Great for finishing off champions with little HP left. 5/5
NO NO:
Clarity: Bad spell overall. You just don't need it. If you are a first-timer with Gragas and has trouble with mana usage, then go with it. I wouldn't suggest this spell.

NO NO:

21-0-9. The investment in the ability power in offense is just for the absurd nuking ability that Gragas has. His Q and R together can essentially kill an enemy champion. I like to take everything on the AP side of the tree, so I can get an early headstart in laning with an enemy champion. The utility is for extra handling on the mana. I like to go offensive with Gragas to add on to his incredible nuking power and extra harassing in lane. I like the utility to keep up with my mana.
I like to max out my Q. The barrel is very useful for poking and harassing enemy champions. Once you maxed your Q, you should be able to wipe out minion creep waves with just a single barrel. I like the max Drunken Rage second because of the mana you receive, once used. The body slam should be useful in escaping from enemy champions. I like to think of the Body slam as a mini flash because you can go over thin walls with it.
I like to start off with an
Amplifying Tome and a health pot, just to get a headstart on the
Mejai's Soulstealer. The soulstealer is really useful because of the free AP you can get just from assists. I would then get a
Boots of Speed (to get the
Sorcerer's Shoes) and get
Hextech Revolver because of the spell vamp., and go onto
Will of the Ancients. I would go for the
Abyssal Scepter because of the Magic Resist late game and
Rabadon's Deathcap for the extra AP scaling. I would top it off with a
Rod of Ages for the HP. If you have a lot of money late game, I would suggest selling Will of Ancidents for a Hextech Gunblade.
