Stun is one of the most important parts in Brand, but is really hard. If you stun a key player, you are really having a high chance to win teamfights. Conflageration seems the biggest useless among all spells. You want damage? Pillar of Flame for godly AOE damage after them being burnt.

To me, the burning effect is least on your ult. Move faster? Not much point besides not letting them stop it via moving far from creeps (Unlikely in team fights anyway). Plus if you aim at a couple of ranged carries? Insta annoyance. They must move to stop being burnt, and it being slow, it could work to your advantage of keeping them away while you destroy the melee champions.

Next comes Conflaguration. Its a smaller AOE than pillar, and should be used if your opponent is ablazed when you are running, so you stun basically anyone that looks like they can catch up. In such cases, Pillar is useless except forcing them to back, those that venture on could be burnt and then stunned for safety.

So, I prefer Conflag, Pillar, Sear for killing single targets, Ult and same combo for multi targets, Sear, Conflag and pillar only when I don't have ulti and all I want to do is burst their hp.

Hope it helps :)

I tend to play Brand very often and am quite familiar with his abilities. I am unsure of how your first combo listed is beneficial though. How many opponents is this against? Missing the Pillar of Flame bonus damage seems like too much to give up. I agree with Beefaaleaf's comment above about leading with sear.

Have you tried leading a team fight with Pyroclasm? Even though it travels more slowly, this is often an advantage. If they don't all get hit by it, they are going to start to scatter. This puts their carries out of position a lot of times. I think Pyroclasm>Pillar of Flame>Conflagrate>Sear tends to decimate teams the best.

Let me know what you think... Thanks.

Decent guide, and good work. I would add the Max dps rotation of Sear > conflagration same target to spread blaze > Pillar of flame all blazed targets for 25% more damage > then pyroclasm to finish.
