and for the hurricane its only good during teamfights without damage ur headshots are useless even with the 150%
in the first midgame teamfigths you will probably aim towards ie + an attack speed item. if you rush the ie + phantom dancer you will be able to crit EVERY SECOND attack on average dealing the 250% krit damage from the infinity edge.
if rushing the ie+hurricane you will headshot every third + crit every 4th on average GRANTED you hit 3 enemies each time. with caitlyns 750 (?) range this will not be realistic if you position yourself to hit the closest target from the furthest range possible unless ofc you figth inside a minion wave.
The 2. problem i find with building hurricane AND phantom is that you have to replace something for hurricane, and we have to face it. when the randuins+sunfire renekton dives for you, your headshots wont be doing **** without last wisperer. You simply needs armourpenetration 99.9 % of the times, as you as an adc is your teams tankbuster and glass cannon.
I hope this explained my wiews on opting hurricane over pd or lw, and i would love getting your wiews on it aswell! other than that, the guide is easy to read, and pretty well setup, i would probably show it to a fresh caitlyn if i would meet one ;)
cheers - g2k
A runaan's hurricane will be useless if you are battling 1-on-1. Since Caitlyn is very effective on this kind of setting, runaan's hurricane's passive will be useless.
it wont if u choose the fighting spot wisely
if you chose to fight near some enemy minions, then you will be hitting the enemy champion with so many headshot that they wont last long
Also that's a stable DPS and depending on her Headshot is situational.
I feel like IE + PD is a lot better because of the 50% crit.
Using Runaan's Hurricane to proc her passive seems like an interesting concept, but the math tells me that her DPS will be lower since there's no crit on it, even if your passive always procs. I'll try this in game to see whether or not the math translates to a significant difference in how it feels during gameplay.
I use Runaan's hurricane because caitlyn is mostly basic attacks during teamfights, so like this i can attack 3 enemies at once and works really well
if i remember each hit deals 600 dmg or something, and a passive + crit deals like 1200
the strong part gets when i can use red on 3 enemies
