a. Always throw spears
b. Time your passive
c. Show up to the party late and you're bound to score
d. Grand Skyfall can be used to escape
e. Aggression wins lanes

25 armor pen
13 magic resist
13 armor

This rune setup allows pantheon to deal obscene amounts of damage while being beefy in the early game. You can survive ganks much easier while maintaining lane domination through spear harass (physical damage).

Max spear shot ASAP.
Next is Aegis of Zeonia.
One point into Heartseeker Strike @ lvl 4, then finish last.

Up to you. I suggest teleport no matter what. I usually take ignite to shut down healers and secure first blood, but you can take flash if you prefer more escape options or refuse to buy wards to protect you from ganks.

Spam Spear Shot.
Use Aegis of Zeonia only when you want to attempt to kill or finish off a champ (the mana cost is high).
Don't use heartseeker strike until you have your bloodthirster. The damage output for mana cost is not worth it.
Every 4 melee strikes you can block 1. Use this to your advantage. You can block turret shots. This allows you to splash turrets by going slightly into their range to land a spear shot on an enemy champ and escape with the turret removing only your shield and none of your HP.

Be aggressive, but make sure to buy wards.

Pros:
Huge amounts of damage through harass
Can shut down many toplane champs
Passive. Aegis of Protection can block turret shots.

Cons:
Can be outranged or shut down by a few champs
Low HP early game can make you vulnerable to champs who rely upon combo skills
Mind your mana.
