I am mastery lvl 7 and have over 300k mastery points on shen. I run crit chance marks (8.4%) because early in laning phase it can give you a huge advantage. You would be surprised at how much damage a crit from his q can do early. My summoner name is "9 inch laphog" if anyone needs any shen tips just send me a friend request.

Hi i got here from other reason than learning how to play shen..i have 500 ranked games on shen this season"phenxd0wn" and was about to make my own guidue so first i wanted to look for some how they look like.I must say your is best i have seen so far so i must leave a comment here:-)I have tried almost every item on shen and i agree in 99% with u.On example i never build trinity.Frozen malet is "must" on my opinion item on shen.Hp,neverending slow,and more flat AD dmg just work awesome on shen like u said for peeling or just deleting carrys(even those with high mobility,dashes).I build Omen if there are crit depending champs (yasuo,ashe,trynda,etc) otherwise i go deadmeans plate.Of course if is ot full ad team u wanna stack as much armor as posible.

Sorry for the late reply Cypok, Guinsoo is such a powerful item right now. On Shen? Only if you're far far ahead in gold and you have another tank on the team, minimizing your teams damage. It provides nothing in the realm of tankiness making it less useful on Shen than most other attack speed reliant champions. It would be a good item on jungle Shen I believe.

I've played 8 games of Shen so far, and with this guide i won the first 6 consecutively! :) :) This is a really nice guide, but I wanted to ask if you could add something: Volibear matchup. He's a pretty strong laner, but he's not a common matchup top so it might help some people to have that.
