Yo I like your idea of Effective Health Points, but I think you got the math wrong.
Since armor and magic resistance (call it X) follows the rule that damage reduction is X/(X+100) It means that your first point of armor or magic resistance is going to work in your formula, 1/101 is about 1% so you should have 1% more effective health. But by the time you have 100 armor 100/200 = 50% each point of armor is now half as effective, those first points of armor or Magic resistance do more than later ones. Also for your effective health you assume that all damage is going to be physical int eh case of armor and magic in the case of MR and it usually isn't so I would cut the bonus health in half assuming damage comes about 50/50 from physical and Magical.
I agree, the math isn't correct.
I would include in the protect allies section another subsection on how to distract / peel enemies off of allies, like Leona's Q or E, or Shen's taunt. Just my 2 cents!
On this build masteries 9/21/0 are also nice (especially when you are vs Jayce)
Overall the point is not who is in the lane side or jungle side, but the information is the point of the guides.
Thanks for the support and feedback guys!
@biodot: That effective health is for that item only. I assume adding up each effective health item will give you the total effective health your character has then you can spilt it between physical and magical.
