Hextech Munitions (PASSIVE)
Corki Passive Ability
Introduction

-
Passive gives 10% true damage (Hextech shrapnel shells)
Armour shred (Gattling gun, "E")
Escape ability (Valkyrie, "W")
Average attack range (550)
Easy to last hit
Great wave clear
Decent early game, strong mid game, strong end game
Not directly countered by other AD carry except for Caitlyn
Great synergy with all supports (even Karma :P)
Cons
-
Phosphorus bomb ("Q") and Valkyrie ("W") scales off AP
Ultimate (Missle barrage, "R") does not do sufficient damage late game against high armour values opponents
If you know/feel that you are a better AD carry who knows how to trade blows efficiently or have a healing support, do the aggressive zoning method and let the lane slowly push to your tower. However, you must know your limits and not accumulate a huge creep wave. Such a strategy may backfire if the opposing jungler successfully dives you at tower which causes you to lose a lot of CS and experience.
The other method is just to play passive and farm. If the opposing AD carry has weak creep wave clearing capabilities (ie Vayne), keep shoving the lane to their tower but make sure the river is always warded. Attempt to harass to further cause loss of CS.
Corki is a very easy champion to last hit with because of his passive that gives additional damage to your auto attacks. If you are still having problems last hitting, try to add some points into "butchery". If your support has good burst synergy (ie Leona, Taric), take ignite as a summoner spell and aggressively trade blows once you hit level 6 or 7.
That does not mean that you should Valkyrie in front of the opposing AD carry with an Alistar support and think you can win the battle. An important thing to know is how much damage your abilities deal and how long it will take to burst someone down at his current HP. If you are not able to do that, the safest way to play aggressive is to get a few auto attacks in and take the opponent down to around half health before attempting to go "balls deep".

Do not fret if you do not have a good lead/advantage of your opponents at bot lane. As long as you are able to keep up in farm even after dying a few times, it should not set your team that far back in terms of gold difference.
Always take objectives (ie Dragon) especially when the opposing team are unable to contest it due to reasons such as lower numbers.
Do not end the laning phase too early especially when your other lanes are not strong enough to siege towers. A prolonged stalemate will give the opposing AD carry time to farm up.
Never dive straight into the middle of the fight especially against an AOE composition. You may take unnecessary damage and this also reduces the distance enemy bruisers take to reach you.
Always try to hit priority targets from the back of your team. If no such targets are in range, just aim the nearest enemy. Some damage is better than no damage.
