I think this guide has potential, but I recommend you reconsider some of your tiers and possibly provide an explanation for why you have champions in the tiers that you do, so that I and everyone else who is confused by the tiers can understand your logic.
I wish you all the best with your new guide.
Shaco, originally I had him higher but after a lot of arguing with my husband about him there were some things that we had to consider when placing him in the tier list. He is one of the what I'm starting to call a hyper jungler. Much like some of the other champions notable examples being Eve and Twitch. In an ideal situation and Ive been there, hence the arguing, he can dominate a game. 10+ kills and he can completely steam roll the competition. The problem is that if he doesn't get the really good positioning and start getting really aggressive he can be quickly outmatched by a more reliable and well-rounded jungler like Udyr for example.
On Orianna, she is really hard to jungle and it requires some heavy runes to do it properly. The trend that seemed to develop with some of the mages was that they become deadly roamers. I can see these picks for a jungle champion happening when the other team does not have a very fast aggressive jungler and they are heavily countering a previous mid pick. In the tests that I ran some of these champions rarely were in the jungle after around level 6 and it just moved the game to late game faster. After playing more games and testing I will have to make sure that I still agree with some of the tiers for mage junglers. A few of the mages seemed to excel at jungling though and shouldn't be considered in this sort of hybrid category. Ziggs being a prime example his abilities worked very well and he ended up being a capable ganker.
Surprised by both Shaco in Tier 5 and Orianna.
You're going to get troll-voted a lot because of Shaco's placement.
Orianna should be lower. I've used her, she's my favorite character. But, she's no jungler.
You have to be able to use her shield correctly and it's nearly impossible for non-elite junglers.
Anyway, keep motivated! Haha. Good work.
And to the above poster.. O.o have you ever attempted to jungle every single champion in LoL! not even that but do you even have all of them.. @#$%@
Guessing from the way that junglers usually happen.. he would be around.. T2-T3
And to 87alphaone, Jax is just really good, I could probably fall asleep jungling him and have random items that would still be viable on him. If you want one way to build Jax it probably wont happen. Jungling as many champions as I'm trying to jungle for this guide sometimes an "odd" way of looking at champions seems to happen. I think I was jungling TF before him and it had my head spinning.
And as far as the scale of some of the champs on the tier list. Like I said before mostly that has to do with end game. The end game rating is based on the criteria of team fight management. For example a champion like Amumu when I do him will get a higher rating because of his ultimate. Though a champion like Shyavanna suffered for that same reason even though her ability to farm the jungle is really high. That being said my husband is a pretty heavy meta player and usually argues with me on the ratings and makes me consider things beyond "just the criteria"
But all things considered some of the criteria is also limited by my personal ability to effectively use all the champions. At some point what I would like to do is post the chart data and the criteria and let people run their own testing. If they are willing to run the tests correctly and have different field data I am more than happy to compare our results and update a champions rating.
