So here we are with the Items.
You can choose between some items at the beginning but use most of the item i posted in my builds purchase order should be by following.
You build up an Philosopher's Stone and Heart of gold with boots. This should be your standard build in early laning phase. A frozen Mallet gives you more survivability and massiv dmg output and the best is the slow. Then your choice is free if you have more ap on enemy team you buy an force of nature or on ad you buy thornmail. At least you buy some items on survivabilty like Warmogs or just lifesteal like the lantern so you have a build in Ward that rules games.

So farming with Jarvan is quite simple... If you dont get top lane don't play Jarvan in double Bot lane he's just useless because he does not get enough farm. You can farming good with him hitting Minions so they get about 30% of their life. Then do your Dragon strike to get all of them by one skillshot. Its pretty simple and you can farm it almost every champion with this taktik.
Well obviously you have to play solo top in ranked game so be sure you get that place otherwise you will be useless cause you don't get enough farm. With Jarvan you have a strong tank and good Fight-Initiator his Ulti can get all enemy Champions at Once. So stay cool and get the right moment to start a teamfight. Most of the time you will die if you dont get out or flash out. You have enough skills to escape. Your Initiation is all that is needed. If the Teamfight is going to end look that you get some kills. Even on low health you have much more burst then some other Champions.
You can find my Video here...
Basically you start with a armor and 5 healthpots instead of ad runes per level you take flat armor runes. Thats all about knowing how to jungle jarvan you will see my path in this video is not the normal one. Normally you start up with blue, then wolfs, ghosts, golems, Red Buff, Dragon .... Then you go laning or else you stay in jungle and gank as hard as you can.
