Tell me that this guide will be upgraded in items or it is an actual guide?
Defensivity1 (1) | November 13, 2020 7:10am
I will make a new guide for season 11 instead of updating this one, up until before preseason everything I put in here was the way I played Yorick.
BuffsForAkaliPls | November 8, 2020 12:52pm
Wow, I wanna start main Yorick and these informations are very helpful. Thanks!
Defensivity1 (1) | November 9, 2020 3:59am
Yeah he is a lot of fun and good luck bonking those enemies with the shovel.

This is a superb guide! I appreciate all the time you put into this, ive learned alot! One question tho, it might be dumb. But isnt it possible to do the Transcendence strat while you are running Grasp, or am I missing something? (I dont have that much league knowledge). Looking forward to your reply. Take care.
Defensivity1 (1) | June 14, 2020 4:53pm
Hello, and sorry for my late reply but Grasp is mainly to survive the laning phase so transcendence does nothing to help you with that on top of that you need to actively build lots of cooldown reduction items to make good use of transcendence and for taking it you will be weaker until you have enough cdr converted into ad which mostly negates the thing that grasp is good at early-mid especially laning phase, where as transcendence is more of a late game so 40+ minute rune, Can't make good use of it when most games don't last that long.
Flaisgudd | June 17, 2020 1:44am
Ah, I see. That makes sense. Thanks for the reply!

This guide should have more votes, honestly. It captures the views of the Yorick subreddit quite well, especially the absence of Iceborn Gauntlet. Great guide!

Thank you.

Hey there,

Here’s the review you requested in the Guide Review Application Thread.

I was actually working on this throughout the week, only to find out Psi beat me to it. I wanted to post it anyway though. I did leave out (most of) the things he talked about since I highly doubt repeating what he said yesterday would be useful.

Again, I left out the things PsiGuard already talked about, I agree with everything he said.

I wonder what you will make of this guide in the future. Good luck with updating your guide!

You are strong and wise, Katasandra, and I am very proud of you.

Hey Defensivity, here's the review you requested:

Overall this seems like a great start for a Yorick guide. You have some solid build options, macro tips, matchup info and the volume of content is not bad. The main areas for improvement in my eyes are how effectively you communicate your knowledge to your readers. Making changes to improve your guide presentation, cleaning up spelling & grammatical errors, and adding some more types of content like ability tips would elevate your guide a lot. It might seem like a lot of work at first, but a lot of the coding techniques you can use can be copied from section to section so you'll gain a lot from incorporating even a few types of visual templates.

Looking forward to revisiting this guide in the future to see how it changes. Good luck with your updates!

Thanks for your feedback you have a lot of good points and i will do my best to make it better.

i added a lot of matchups because i want to provide answers to even the most off meta or rare picks in the toplane and i dont have much experience making guides which seems where most of my issues come from.

About Gnar specifically he counters Yorick because of his w passive and his ability to use his E and stay safe untill its back up again makes it very difficult to punish him as every time where he messes up he can e out and stay back too far for yorick to retaliate because when the W is used and Gnar jumps out with his E there is no way to engage on to him while he can safely poke with his q or w passive and auto attacks.

But thank you for your time and i will do my best to make it better.

Hey! Thank you so much for this, this guide is amazing! You converted me to tf+sanguine!
I see that you update it almost on a daily basis, so if I don't ask too much, could you keep a changelog for any important change you introduce? Thanks!
Defensivity1 (1) | February 1, 2020 5:57pm
Hey, welcome to my guide i dont think having a changelog is going to be an easy thing for me to have around or do my best at keeping up besides if nothing really gets nerfed and nothing gets buffed, and no real new items get introduced i dont think things would be very likely to change if you want any matchups added just let me know (im still a bit unsure about the sett one, tend to not have played that one enough) so i wont know every matchup but i appreciate the feedback.
