Bard
Bard can set up ganks better than almost any other champion with his Magical Journey. Respect the enemy jungler, don't get stunned by his Q, keep the enemy jungle camps warded. Start Relic Shield.
Cassiopeia
Having a Cass on your team when you're Nami is truly a blessing, especially if she's botlane with you. I like to put three points into Tidecaller's Blessings when I'm laning with Cass because of how well she synergizes with you. Cassiopeia is one of the best allies to have as a Nami,

Champion Build Guide
I plan to add at least four more chapters: Nami's pros & cons, unique tips and tricks, how to use active items (such as Mikael's Blessing) to their full potential, and a conclusion.
If you have any feedback or questions, please don't hesitate to leave comments, or you can come down to my stream and ask me there!
Aqua Prison: Nami sends a bubble towards the targeted area, dealing 75 / 130 / 185 / 240 / 295 (+ 50% AP) magic damage to all enemies hit, revealing them, and suspending them for 1.5 seconds
- Range: 875
- Mana cost: 60
- Cooldown: 12 / 11 / 10 / 9 / 8
- Travel time: ~0.875 seconds
Ebb and Flow: Nami unleashes a stream of water onto the target champion or herself, which then bounces to nearby unaffected champions up to twice, alternating between enemies and allies and herself. Ebb and Flow heals allies for 60 / 85 / 110 / 135 / 160 (+ 30% AP) and deals 70 / 110 / 150 / 190 / 230 (+ 50% AP) magic damage to enemies, with each bounce increasing in effectiveness by ((7.5 per 100 AP) - 15)%.
- Range: 725
- Cost: 70 / 85 / 100 / 115 / 130 Mana
- Cooldown: 10
- Range: 800
- Cost: 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 Mana
- Cooldown: 11

Tidal Wave: Nami summons a Tidal Wave that surges forth, dealing 150 / 250 / 350 (+ 60% AP) magic damage to all units it hits, knocking them up for 0.5 seconds and then slowing them by 50 / 60 / 70% for 2 − 4 (based on distance traveled) seconds.
- Range: 2750
- Cost: 100 Mana
- Cooldown: 120 / 110 / 100
This season, I've been buying Relic Shield more often than Spellthief's Edge on most enchanters (besides Yuumi). If you haven't tried Relic Shield on ranged supports before, try it out. The consistent income is worth losing the mana regen from Spellthief's Edge if you would earn less gold otherwise. Nami doesn't have many problems managing mana in lane. You should trying to only use your W when you have manaflow band available.
Generally, I only buy Spellthief's Edge against weak and short-ranged ADCs like Vayne, Twitch, and Sivir.
Whichever support item you have, try to make sure you're never sitting at 3 charges/stacks.
For boots, Ionian Boots of Lucidity is the default. Cooldown Reduction is essential on Nami and her power level increases significantly after reaching 40% CDR. I never build Mobility Boots after the recent nerf.
Next, you have a choice of second items. The three you'll probably purchase the most are either Ardent Censer, Redemption, or Rabadon's Deathcap.
Consider getting an Ardent Censer if your ADC is even or ahead and would use the attack speed well. ADCs such as Twitch, Ashe, and Sivir all make good use of Ardent Censer. Another reason to get an Ardent Censer is if you have champions on your team (other than your ADC) who would use it well, such as Master Yi or Irelia. Any melee champion with Blade of the Ruined King will appreciate Ardent Censer's buff. If you have an ADC who doesn't benefit as much from the attack speed and no other teammate would use it well, you can skip the Ardent Censer.
Tip: Caitlyn scales worse with attack speed from levels, items, and stats compared to other ADCs. This makes Ardent Censer less valuable for Caitlyn and this is the reason I don't build it for her.
After completing Ardent Censer or skipping it, the next item on the list is Redemption. Redemption is good in games where 1) the teamfights are long (this can be due to there being a lot of tanks or sustain), 2) you'll be sitting mid {i]and[/i] one of your teammates will be split pushing, and/or 3) there are champions who create a "zone" to fight in, such as Jarvan IV, Rakan, Galio, and Camille. You can use your Redemption on top of the zone preemptively as soon as you see the champion engaging and setting up the zone. It's often that none of these scenarios will be true for the specific game you're playing. If that's the case, you should skip Redemption.
The third item on the list is Rabadon's Deathcap. Nami has some exceptional AP scaling. Upon surpassing 200 AP, Ebb and Flow will start to heal more/do more damage the more it bounces. Building Rabadon's Deathcap on a support might seem strange, but consider the fact that Nami doesn't have much synergy with items besides Athene's Unholy Grail. Raw AP causes Nami to give her whole team more movement speed with Surging Tides, slow more and do more damage with Tidecaller's Blessing, heal more with Ebb and Flow, and stack Athene's more easily because you're doing more damage. If instead of AP you bought Heal & Shield power, all you would be doing is healing for 10-20% more.
