Introduction
So i had my first 8 hours of Dominion and had a lot of fun dominating my opponents with


Pleas keep in mind that Dominion is in Beta only at the moment so it is likely that things may change and also that i only have a limited time to play it, but i will try to improve as soon as i get the next chance to play on Dominion with Skarner.
Oh and yeah my first guide :D
Also please read the full guide before you vote and if you still think there is something terrible wrong with the guide leave me a note in the comments and i will try to look at it/ correct it as soon as possible.
Ok so with Dominion we have a whole new map and 2 new Summoner Spells, this will still need some testing but here is what i think
Hands down the best SP for Dominion, Dominion is all about being fast to cap you Opponents towers or stop the from doing that to your own, also it has a pretty low cool down witch is nice.
2nd best SP for Dominion, this basically allows you to fight your Opponents at their towers and if you are good enough to 1v2 them at your own tower.
you will be poking a lot in Dominion when it comes to caping other towers, this can give you a head up.
Most overpowerd SP on the standard maps, though i haven't really found a use for it on Dominion
You already have an slow and you will also build items that slow.... i don't really think this SP is necessary.
The cooldown is too long to be used on Dominion, nuff said.
Ghost

As far as i am concerned the best Marks you can take, no need to add any other ones.
Seals:

Greater Seal of Defense Greater Seal of Defense
Can't really decide between them because you will be leveling a lot faster in Dominion it might be the better choice to take the Armor per Level Seals, needs more testing.
Glyphs:

Your role on Dominon won't be set in stone, you have high movement speed you are quiet tanky, you can push creepwaves pretty good, and you have the dps and skill set to 1v1 nearly everyone.
I will split this up now and show you wich roles i think there are on Dominion and how Skarner fits into them.
This is a role that
Rammus or
Teemo are commonly picked for. Thats becouse of theire high MS which allowes them to run straight to an unprotected tower and capture them bevore any opponent can react to it.
Skarner: Well we take
Boots of Mobility anyways, then we have our
Crystalline Exoskeleton, an
Trinity Force. This combined with the MS buffs that are located on the map gives us enough MS to keep up with
Teemo or such.
In case you want to play this way you will want to pick up Priscilla's Blessing to capture the towers faster.
This role is mainly for tanks or every champion that can sustaine them selfs while staying at the tower and have enough utillety to stop or kill your opponents in an 1v2 situation.
Skarner: He fits perfectly into this role he has an build in lifesteal
, an shield
, an spammable AOE that stops your opponents from captureing
and you have an ultimate which allowes you to drag an opponent into your tower, do some dmg on your own and let the tower do the rest.
An Pusher is a Champion that can sustaine them selfs good in a "lane" and push creep waves to the enemy tower. Also he has to be able to survive the poke from your opponents while he standt at theire tower.
I will split this up now and show you wich roles i think there are on Dominion and how Skarner fits into them.
Runner:
This is a role that

Defender:
This role is mainly for tanks or every champion that can sustaine them selfs while staying at the tower and have enough utillety to stop or kill your opponents in an 1v2 situation.




Pusher :
An Pusher is a Champion that can sustaine them selfs good in a "lane" and push creep waves to the enemy tower. Also he has to be able to survive the poke from your opponents while he standt at theire tower.
Ok i have 3 different ways of starting off, depending on which point i wana capture first.
I take this build if i start with capturing the bottom tower and push the bottom "lane"
to the next tower which gives the enemy a bit pressure and lets me poke them a bit.
This build is for rushing the second top tower, your
Crystalline Exoskeleton,
Ghost and your
Boots of Mobility will give you enough movement speed to keep up with a
Rammus,
Master Yi or
Teemo
This is an allround "be happy" package. Mostly if you can't really decide on what to take/do and if it's your first time with
Skarner.

to the next tower which gives the enemy a bit pressure and lets me poke them a bit.

Ok now depending on how the game is going and how the matchup looks you will want to adjust your items to your enemys i mostly take only one devensif item becouse and that only if the game realy takes that long that you have to buy a 6th item.
