that is teh manamune. I am going to re-work this build with all the new items and strategies I would use.

This build is totally lame.
1) Ryze doesn't have even one skill which can make him DPS
2) this rune build is totally chaotic
3) you can't get a point "Archaic Knowledge" without maxing out the mastery above it...

If you think that even Ryze is a great DPS, than all heroes are...

i wouldn't do dps ryze but if i where i would get that item that give you mana each time u use a spell and give u flat mana plus turn 3% of mana in attack damage i think its a new item but what ever i didnt rate

Just played a game with it and went 19/11/17. +1 for originality. Only problem is low mana but I kept going for golem for that.

You cant get archaic knowledge without getting sorcery.

Using Zilean as a DPS champ is much more viable because his timebombs still do around 300 damage at level 5 without AP. I haven't tried DPS Ryze yet, but DPS zilean is one beast champ. And also it confuses the **** out of everyone.

Wit's end isn't needed too much, it's generally for the passive mana debuff. Early game you're going to have trouble farming. You say sword of the divine for tanks? Just use a bloodrazor. I think the item build should be something like

Cloth armor +5HP pots/Vampiric Scepter
Razors (skip the razors if you got the scepter)
Boots of Swiftness/Sorcerer's Boots (your skills are still going to do magic damage)
Madred's Bloodrazors/Malady(if you got Scepter)
Madred's Bloodrazors/Malady (whichever you didn't get before
Black Cleaver (can be fit somewhere in between the razors and malady if needed)
Infinity Edge
Phantom Dancer

Something a bit like that might work. Never tried or seen AD Ryze and Black Cleaver isn't too necessary if you've already got the bloodrazors freeing up an open spot for more AD or AS. Bloodthirster could probably be put in place of the infinity Edge because you're not going crit% unless you choose to get a phantom dancer earlier on, which frees you up for slower boots than the boots of swiftness (those boots work pretty well on Ryze). Just my opinion.
