Introduction
Looks like it ended up being a somewhat thorough guide anyways :)
That's enough about me and I think I'll move on with a Draven quote; "Let's admire me for a bit."
Pros:
Cons:
-
- Has great early game damage output
- Has great mobility which lets him chase efficiently
- Global ultimate
- Can use Spinning Axe tons of times without paying its mana cost
- Is an effective harasser
- Can last hit effectively due to Spinning Axe without diminishing his mana pool
Cons:
-
- Hard to play as positioning on him is more crucial than any other AD Carry
- Damage output will drop drastically if he gets CC'ed and drops his Spinning Axe
- Keeping track of his Spinning Axes in teamfights can be difficult
- Has no "real" eascape ability
Many people mistake Draven for a regular AD Carry, like Ashe and Graves, but what sets Draven apart is that his damage ability isn't some ranged AoE spam like Graves' Buckshot or Ashe's volley, but his Spinning Axe which applies to his basic attacks which he can catch again. When ever he catches a Spinning Axe, his Bloodrush ability is immediately refreshed, which will allow him to have Sheen's effect every 2 seconds -> this makes for extremely potent damage output. If you go with my Rune Setup as well as Mastery Page, you will be able to hit the enemy for 125 physical damage (not counting the enemy's armor) with every basic attack when your Spinning Axe is applied: 63 AD + 28 Spinning Axe + 34 bleed effect from Wicked Blades (passive) -> combine this with a Janna shielding you, thus granting you more AD and you will pretty much be able to 4 hit the enemy AD Carry through harass, if they don't get healed that is.
