Introduction
My Name is Rax and i main Ekko in the Midlane!
I hope you like my first Guide.
Also i have a short guide with Ekko on Youtube but its in german!
Farming as a mid laner especially is very important. More farm means more items which leads to more damage. About 15-20CS is equivalent to 1 kill so you can start to see how important it is to farm up in mid lane. However, you don't want to farm when you will be punished for attempting to do so. This is also where warding is very important so that you know if the enemy jungler is there to punish you for staying and farming in lane. Alternatively, you can punish the enemy mid laner for attempting to farm when they are in a risky spot to do so.
Playing as Ekko:
You can use w mid mini dash of your e, and the enemy won't see the animation of activating it even with vision which can be helpful on all inning,
Edit: They can still see your ghost, so all this would do is combine the animation time of his w with his e
Second half of e is a blink, a well timed one can dodge a skill shot
This one goes either way. His e has a short delay, if the enemy blinks in this time, you'll follow him.
Playing against Ekko:
His initial q range is almost as short as talon w, reaching it's full range will take awhile making it easy to dodge/outrange
If he gets 2 stacks of his passive on you, back off until it disappears to avoid a lot of damage and his quick escape
When following ekko, always have vision on him to have his ghost visible so you can dodge his ult
His ult has a delay, if you see him use it, but you don't see that ghost, you'll be better off dashing backwards or to the side for a good chance of dodging it.
You only have one sec to see his w, constantly move around to make it harder for him to predict your movements in the next 3 seconds.
