U wanna go Rod, (no i did not say protobelt) rush Rod.
Get a pair of boots that counters your enemy picks.
After that it's very situational depending on the matchup, are your toplane opponent ad or ap mainly?
AD=Zhonyas
AP=Abyssal
No exceptions get a defensive item 2nd.
3rd item you want to get Gunblade or Lichbane (do not get comfortable and buy Lichbane every game cus you're a wuzz) you're not some little girl, go Gunblade.
Do not underestimate Banshees, it's a good AP item with free defensive stats.
Enemy team got 5 champions (well duuuuh) calculate what their primary damage type is.
"Typical teamcomp" 3AP/2AD or 2AP/3AD, depending on which one of these it is u either want to go 2 armor items or 2 magic resist items to be a beastly damagedealing tank.
(If for some reason the enemy team is 50%/50% AP/AD you can get a hybrid defensive item or a plain hp item as 3rd defensive.
When you're playing like this, we wont lose no more games because you accidently pulled a "Jensen" and died before you got your ult off.
