Yello, couple things about this guide:

- For runes, I like Hybrid Red instead of the Flat MPen. Main reason is that your Mystic Shot will deal physical damage. The trade off of losing only ~3 MPen for 8 APen will give you the best maximum damage output for your skills. I prefer Flat MR blues because you are JUST. 2. SQUISHY. Purples are preference, but I like Movement Speed because position with Ezreal is so important (Flat AP works as well, since Ezreal's abilities scale quite well with AP, with the exception of Mystic Shot).

-Also add that he can't sustain with an AP build in your Cons. This is very critical, especially since his main damaging abilities as AP are much shorter than his Mystic Shot range. Ezreal is also fairly weak around mid game, where tanky champions can take the majority of your burst, even with the MPens, while you are still working on your core damage items.

-I would go under the full 9 Utility for the Neutral Buff duration. Ezreal is very strong having both buffs, and the increased duration will help him take advantage of them better. Take out a point in Flat AP Mastery for this. I would ignore going under the flat Mana mastery and just rush an Unholy Grail if you are concerned about him going OOM.

-Consider Ignite instead of Ghost, especially if you have Summoner's Wrath mastery, which you should. 5 bonus AD and AP will definitely help Ezreal damagewise.

-For skilling, most people max out Essense Flux first. It's much more reliable form of damage with its lower Cooldown and better AP scaling, with the tradeoff of costing more mana as you lvl it, which shouldn't be a problem if you have mana regen. You should be using Arcane Shift mainly for escape or when there's no minion wave to get in the way.

-For Items, I like Sorc Boots and Unholy Grail instead of Lucidity & Guise. The MR from both items & masteries will give you the best cost-efficient durability that you need to survive (seeker's will cover your early Armor needs). If you ever need to get some extra health, don't be afraid to invest in 1-2 more Doran's Ring. And even then, you should rush an Hourglass if you are getting bursted instead of rushing Health items (and wasting gold on them).

-You buy Lich Bane because it procts with your Mystic Shot, and not mainly because of the movement speed (although Movement Speed still helps). Your .20 becomes .95 (1.0 with the Spellblade mastery), which allows you to poke extremely well when you build up AP and have Lich.

Would this still work with ap quints instead of magic pen quints cause i dont have them.

Yes, it will work. You will just have to ensure you get your Magic Penetration items like Haunting Guise and Void Staff to reflect substantial damage.

Wow, I haven't updated this in a long time. Sorry guys. I've been pretty busy and ended up staying in Baltimore, Maryland for a couple of months due to training.

I recently added a build for ARAM because I really enjoy playing it. I still have a lot of investigating to do as a lot of things have seemingly changed. Be patient with me please.

Hi!

The rest of this post was written for a diffrent AP Ez guide, so not everything might be a reference to yours:

I started to play AP Ez a bit at ABAMs, so...

Some notes;
- RCS doesnt proc on Q at all, mostlikely the slow during the ult doesnt matter much either. Whats left? 15% slow for 1.5 secs on W and full sow - but only for 1.5 secs at E.
- I am wondering if IG might be an option even if you have got LB already, considering it allows quite good kiting. Or maybe FM is also an option for him.
- And..what about Malady?
- Void Staff only negates MR, note here that Q does physical damage always plus LB proc.

- Especially after the tons of nerfs I think it is worth considering maxing Q first. Rush Sheen, then go for HT GB (Bilgewater first). This allows for easy sheen procing, and Bilgewater gives AD with which Q scales the best with. (nerfs to W: Width, damage, %AS decrease). Q is harder to hit with in lane, though. It is also more mana conserving. Sheen without getting some points in Q seems a bit useless to me.
- I am tempted to try out hybrid pen marks on AP Ez. You go for an early Sheen, your Q does phys damage and your AA will hurt a tiny bit more during laning.
- No HT Gunblade?

Else nice guide, keep goin!

Thank you everyone for the nice comments and trying out this build.

I want to give a shoutout to istisHD for submitting a screenshot of his matches with AP Ezreal, using my build.

In addition, I have updated the build just to reflect some of the Season 3 changes. Their are still a few new items I'm trying to judge their effectiveness, so there may be more updates down the road.

I would normally respond to everyone, but I'm kind of busy, preparing for a Superbowl party :)
