Introduction

Fiora is a melee champion that is similar to yi's mechanics but has her own little quirks to make her a great champion to choose. The goal of this build is to provide the ability to push a lane with ease as well as the damage output to wreck a enemy champion(s).

Skills

Fiona's skills may seem a bit familiar due to some similarities to a few of yi's.

Duelist(passive)- Fiora regenerates a amount of health over 6 seconds each time she deals damage, striking champions will cause this to stack up to 4 times.

Lunge(Q)- Fiora dashes forward to strike her target, dealing physical damage. Fiora can perform the dash a second time within a couple seconds at no mana.

Riposte(W)- Passive-attack damage is increased, Active- Fiora parries the next basic attack and reflects damage back to the attacker

Burst of speed(E)- Fiora temporarily gains additional attack speed. each attack increases her movement speed, cooldown refreshed by kill of an enemy champion.

Blade Waltz(R) Ultimate- Fiora dashes around the battlefield to deal damage to enemy champions, strikes against the same target deal less damage

With Fiora i start with riposte and max it early, this gives you a bit more survivability than the norm. at level two i take on burst of speed to grant health regeneration for sustainability, and at level three i take Lunge and don't max it till late game. with Fiora you want to harass with lunge once you get it at level three but be sure not to put yourself in a position you cannot get out of. When you hit level six you can easily take on just about any enemy as long as you haven't been starved, the strategy is to open with Lunge, then immediately use blade waltz, this will do the bulk of your damage while allowing you time to reset your Lunge, exhaust if you can then lunge back onto your enemy and get the kill. with group fights its a bit more difficult, save blade waltz and lunge for later on in the fight, always open a team fight with riposte to negate any first shots that may happen.

For summoner spells i choose exhaust and flash, flash gives a bit of getaway that Fiora is lacking as well as giving you the ability to catch a low opponent. exhaust is extremely useful for killing higher attack speed/damage champions and slowing runners after your blade waltz.

Item Build

My approach to Fiora's item build is a bit unconventional but gets some really good results.

Of course we star out with the Dorian's blade, good for health and a damage boost.

Next thing your gonna need is your boots, and the berserker's greaves grant the mobility along with a great boost in attack speed.

Next item on the agenda is the Brutalizer, this item is a great damage boost that adds armor pen along side with some cooldown reduction, this item isn't exactly needed but can help a early game player.

Tiamt's are the thing that makes this build unconventional, but they are very cheap ways of getting good damage and utility, the health Regen goes good with Fiona's passive and the splash damage helps her push lanes with ease. AND yes to all the disbelievers these Tiamat's stack.

A Vamp scepter adds a bit of lifesteal that works well with burst of speed.

A phantom dancer is a speed item with some added crit, this item gives you great attack speed and lends you a good amount of movement speed to chase or run from enemies.

the final thing to finish is a bloodthirster, now this is self explanatory damage with good lifesteal.

I don't add in any health or armor items because for the most part, with this build you can lifesteal and Regen your way out of a lot of trouble.

Runes

for runes i went armor pen with armor and some magic resist, now Fiora is really squishy so i highly recommend these armor improvements to help sustain your health.

Masteries

for her masteries i went 22/0/8, now i tried this build with her as 22/8/0 and it works just as well, so if you want the armor and MR boost for your play-style, go with it. the 8 in the utility tree is mainly for the flash boost and the movement speed boost.

Pros / Cons

Pros of this build- you can slay minion waves and whip group battles up with ease with this battle. the attack speed and lifesteal/health Regen of this build gives more sustainability in lane and in fights.

Cons of this build- things seem a little tough up against beefier champions early game, but the tiamat's make quick work of that.
