Ok to start there are a few morons that didn't read the build description, "Boots can be added to this build if anyone feels it's needed but normally in a 3V3 I almost never make it to a 4th cape before my team wins"

To those of you that said AP users would stomp this build, your not Pro, so this ain't the build for you. I do a lot of ganking so ranged players don't have a chance to run and other tank to stack MR they still take a good chunk of AOE damage and any good player knows that you have teammates that help you gank. I have a high elo so even other Pro players aren't prepared all the time.

So to Karnivore915 and Mabl, hope you two aren't too hurt by this but you need to step up your gaming if you wish to reach Pro Status someday, cuz bashing without reading makes you look like idiots. GG

This build is actually quite horrible. Maybe in a 3v3 the lack of boots can be accepted, but against a smart team, you wouldn't stand a chance.

A smart team would:
A) Get magic resist. This would negate the effects of the cloaks, and your spells. Assuming you have an AD team, 67% reduced physical AND magic damage is quite easily achievable for any tank.
B) Range you. A smart team would have the tank run in to slow you down and keep you busy and simply range you to death. Seeing as how you have absolutely no magic resist, a Madred's Bloodrazor along with a mildly fast attack speed would cut you down in no time.
A Malzahar would have no trouble with you, drop a pool down (which does 7% HP every second) then stun you inside of it with his ult, and you would be dead by the end of it.
C) Never let you get this fed. Maybe you can get it to 2 Capes without being fed, and a smart team wouldn't feed you, and can easily deny you last hits on minions making this build take forever.

Stacking into one specific trait is never a good thing, especially for a tank. Two or three sunfire capes, along with your Despair and your ultimate is more than enough damage for a tank, and the rest of the items should be spent trying to not die via spells, which would tear you to shreads.

Sorry if it's harsh, but this build is completely unviable. If you play and do well with this build, you obviously are not in a very high elo.

I totaly aggree with you karnivore915.
Any AP champ would break you down with ease. No mag reist is no good. -1

You can't get lvl 3 Cursed of Sad Mummy until level 16.

Not bad at all, but only effective vs specific teams. Stacking sunfires works nice at meleee range but you don't get magic resistance. Overall, you have to do nothing for most of your damge meaning this like boring playstyle imho.

To NoOneKnows yes it does work in 5v5.
To Hubert "Boots can be added to this build if anyone feels it's needed but normally in a 3V3 I almost never make it to a 4th cape before my team wins" it's in the text and with 2 stuns you can drop other tanks fairly easy. This Amumu build works really well in 5V5 team battles, cuz he's ultimate allows your teammates to pick off who they want all while your eating away at the NMEs with your AOE's and it's not just late game as long as your playing it safe.

This isn't that great of a build, your just spamming sunfires, you don't have any boots or magic resist. True, you can get lots of kills with ur sunfire but that will be very late game and mostly only squishy heroes

Does this build can work well in a 5v5 too?

Build is BEAST! Lil Amumu just eat all champs with this build and nice way to cover yourself with the boots comment. AOE FTW!

Great build, Amumu goes great with champions like Kat, panth, Yi, WW, Karthus, Shaco, Nunu, The bird thing :D and pretty much anyone with a big AoE. I run a setup like this with my current 5's team and we win in every team fight in about 2 seconds. Cool down reduction is amazing for his ulti.
