Hi there , my name is PlacinTeL and i'm curently Silver I in EUNE . I can't say that i main Kennen but he quickly made it into my heart a short time after i bought him . I used to play him mid (as most of the people do) but recently i tried him top and it worked amazing . In the next build you'll discover my way of building Kennen and tips .

PROS

-Amazing ultimate
-Awesome burst
-Good gap closer/escape tool
-Can turn around games

CONS

-Very squishy
-If you get shuted down early , you're pretty much behind all game
-Focused a lot in teamfight
-Your ulti can be denied by a lot of champs (unless you have hourglass)

Ignite - You usually want to have this on Kennen so you can just ignite your enemy and then walk away like a baws ^^ .
Flash - This is pretty much what you need to take every game . This is an awesome escape tool but it can be used to land a key Thundering Shuriken .
Ghost - Ghost is pretty useless on this guy because of your Lightning Rush . No more to say about this one
Heal - Ignite > Heal

You HAVE TO GET ALL THE MINIONS . Ok , i can't stress this enough , you just have to kill all of them . Practice your last hit a lot . That's the main reason i buy 2 Doran's Blade as it gives me the so needed ad for nice and easy last hits .
By the 20 min mark you want to have around 150 creeps , that's like ideal .

With Kennen you want to play a bit more aggresive than your average top laner . You're a ranged champ . Ranged > Melee . YOU HAVE TO ABUSE THAT . You just have to poke them and they'll Q_Q in front of you . When they try to engage on you , just Lightning Rush away .

So , by now you should have your Zhonya's Hourglass if everything went well . Your job is to get as deep as you can (that's what she said) in their team and just press 'R' . If your team isn't full of monkeys that just discovered the computer then it's like impossible to lose a teamfight with Kennen's ultimate

I heard a lot of people saying that Kennen is weak in late game . I have to say NO to that because of his utility . Your ultimate just tears down the whole team and i'm not even including the stuns that can land on everyone from their team .

Kennen works well with almost all the champions but i found some that he works the best with .


Orianna works very well with Kennen because of their ultimates . Comebined you can demolished a whole team in just 2 seconds .
Jarvan IV works good with Kennen as well . The only downside of this is that if you don't get caught in Cataclysm you have to use flash to get in it .
Thresh is like one of my favorite support to have on one team . He can Death Sentence into them , The Box them and then just throw Dark Passage at you and voilà , you're inside a 5 men team .
