Not very well explained, and you get some hard defects on masteries (why not spending one point in agility after bumping 4 points for 2% dodge?, nah, not my thing, srry).

I think that making a guide like this is like you say nothing, building all the tanks the same way, doesn't take advantage of their strengths.

I don't have mundo in mind as a good tank (not in 5v5 anyway, he's just a meatshield and never gets focused, so he soaks 0 damage from carries) and don't even mention great tanks such as Galio (AoE taunt? nuff said) or Mumu (AoE stunt? poker face like).

You don't mention jungle Rammus (one of the best jungling tanks and my favourite)...

You made a minimal build for 5 complex champions... No, sorry, not my thing.

Yeah basically what he said.

Now about protecting the carry..if you are worth more gold then that carry try to save him, but if its between you and him. You need to GTFO.

Plus this is a very basic explianation of what to do with these champions, which helps people who have no clue. To an extent that is, but if they looked elsewhere they probaly will find a better explination.

So it has good intentions, but just too much for one guide. With almost no real point, or is unclear.

Ummm.... Grab taunt first on Shen would probably be a good idea. Pulling them all to you for 2 seconds and doing less damage is better than .8 seconds and doing damage. You are definitely not trying to deal the damage.

Rammus taunt 1 enemy, shen taunt in a line, malph ult that CC's while in air then NO dmg unless he gots some AP.

Singed: Who cares if he has no AP? he deals no dmg without AP ( I should know as he is my main and played me through at least half my total matches) and mundos cleaver throw? Nah, he is a MENACE when he comes up close with his aoe burn, but no one focuses mundo anyways, to much regen ;)

I am not EVER saying DMG items on tanks, i am saying AP functionallity that allows them to become a real harm to the other team. Best ex. here is Allistair, he really is neglectable unless he gets items to make him a threath.

Personally i play tanks, tanks and tanks. Even when i dont play tanks, i play tanks. Reason? I hate beeing on a team with a useless tank, so i cover that part myself and let the "I R TEH CARRY" naps have fun trying to deal dmg. If you can get focused and survive the heat, your have made your ancestors, obama, Queen elizabeth or whomever proud. If you run around with 4,5k HP and a ton of armour and gloat about beeing invincible then people will wait for your team to drop before they eat you aswell. (This is why tank teams roll over all in MM random, cos ppl dont know who to focus). Be the tank, and redirect their focus. If you think the TAUNTS and ULTS alone are enough, then you are wrong.

Good guide tho, just think u need to point this out.

OOH I see, I read your comment wrong (my English isn't that good); i did want to put something about that focus in an introduction but i didn't really know how to say it...
i'll write something down about that later...
thx for the reply btw ;p

Singed is a pretty bad example because I can get above 10 kills/match with him (without offensive items)

Job of a tank: To get FOCUS one way or another! Then survive it till his team is done cleaing out the trash. Nuff said. Going tank items purely can make you nothing but a chunk of HP that no one needs to worry about.

Something to think of.

If you could chose between going for Singed or Ashe when in a TF, you would go for Ashe, yeah? What if singed flings you into his poison and drops a 200DPS poison on you? "Darn, he has some AP items! Better nuke him down swiftly"

Then singed has efficiently TANKED the focus off Ashe's back.
