Well I have had amazing results with Galio but this build isn't one I would use. First of all, I lvl all abilities equally and Righteous Gust is extremely useful so I have no idea why this guy picks it up so late.

I don't think he is a viable Sunfire Tank and I feel that they limit him so I tend to grab HP with a Rylia's and then grab a Thornmail.

He has an amazing slow and his ult is great. I don't know what lonewolf mean's by the no CC. I'm confused there lol. His damage output is great for a support tank as well so I'm not sure why he says that either.

Galio can speed everyone up, buff himself to massive defensibility and can farm gold like craaazy. (Another reason sunfires make no sense). Played right he can get his core items very early and this gives him a huge edge.

Play him with a good damaging partner and you wont think he is useless. :) You can check my build if you like. I love this champion and I have a great win streak going with him. :)

This character ****ing sucks. Ive tried every kind of combination i can think of from all AP, to all magic resist, to even tank spec and he cant do ****. He's not viable for anything except gathering dust. He has **** damage, No cc beyond his pathetic ultimate, and his spells dont even help him. His bulwark is a laugh once the team fights start. Dont get me wrong I'd LOVE to play this guy and learn him, but ive been at him since release and i cant do anything with him. I hope this guide works out, its my last shot at trying to play this guy before i give up on him.

@GeneralBS I can't say I'm an expert at Galio yet, but what I would do is change my runes from magic resist per level to straight-up magic resist or ability power even to help early farming or getting first blood. Whether you or your lanemate gets first blood, you will be able to farm with more ease after the enemy's death. This way you may get built up faster. Also, once you become confident in your mana management, you can sell your Chalice of Harmony to help you get your Banshee's Veil (or Guardian Angel if you prefer) faster.

i am a big fan of galio but i dont get built fast enough i end up needing either guardian angel or banshee's veil what would you do to get yourself built up and still be apart of the team fights

@Ratmaze I was thinking of reducing the damage of physical DPS by a bit, but you're right. I will consider changing those seals to either armor or something else of value. Thanks for the comment :D

Great build and selection but one thing I must ask, why dodge? It actually render your Ult less viable cause it depends on much they hit you.
