if you are going to play dps/tank garen i would get atma's instead of phantom for 2 reasons:
1. you dont really want attack speed that much (and this build is quite expensive already)
2. it gives 70 AD assuming you got 3,5 health and 18% crit, which is about as good as an second IE for half the price

I like this build but i like to be more dps so i dont get frost mallet i get infinity edge so i will have two of them cause it gives 80 damage and 20% crit chance since u need that since judgement can crit

as i said before, the 6th item is very casual, you can use a defensive one or a offensive one. i choose the phantom dancer as a must have item , mainly because:

- It's annoying to try to run away and be chased by someone who runs faster than you if for some reason you dont have any of your summoner spells ready to use;

- you need some atack speed, because garen is slow as hell when he auto atacks, and since you can take towers alone with your health pool boost, why not make a good use of some more atack speed?... also keep in mind that the other team might be ready to ambush you. so the main focus is hit -> run -> repeat.

- Dodge is always good, it's true it doesnt do much of a thing if you have a small ammount of it, but on farming minions or even in the jungle i've dodged many atacks.

so as you can see phantom dancer is a 3 way boost for this build.

But to talk about infinity edge: that item is one of the best items you can grab for garen. Atack damage + crit, who doesnt want that , it makes the perfect combo to kill someone. judgment+sunfire cloak+crits and high dmg = win!

but as i stated before, take it if you see that the other team doesnt have many spell casters.

normaly i take infinity edge... and i might edit this later cause i want to help as much as i can.

if anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

tks

I would replace 1 phantom dancer with a infinity edge for some damage and crit but that's just me great build tho

nope, still stacks and deals the same damage as before. try it and you will see.

btw ppl, instead of giving -score without leaving any comment at least explain why you do it.

it's pointless to do it otherwise.

uhm. The new patch removed the "sunfire" stacks, Didnt it?

Casters will eat you.
2x Phantom + 2x Sunfire. A bit overkill for physical champs. I would vote for swapping something into Force for some Mres.

if you feel you cant finish the build , instead of making 2 phantom dancers , choose 2 zeals, it's practicly the same, tho i would advise using 1 phantom dancer a 1 zeal. should be easy.

also, if you feel that the game is going ok, stay on with phage, only if you are geting focused by the other team, grab the mallet , it's easy sometimes just to use decisive strike + courage + judgdment do run away. and since you apply the slow down on the target with the synergy between mallet and Decisive strike you will have 90% chance of escaping alive.

another thing, this build is very good to at mid-game farm as much beasts in the jungle and minions as you can. also make sure you always go laning with someone who can snare/stun the opponents.

1-6 - grab the +3 speed boots and when you feel your lane is protected go for other lanes to gank and then come back. while doing this it will grant you enough money to aim for the first sunfire cape.

summoner spells: my selection is ignite and slow, but use whatever you thing it suits you better.
