Wait until he actually uses hook to spell shield.
She's hard to hit when she keeps moving. Support matchup determines outcome of lane.
Rush ninja-tabis and trades will be less in his favor.
In lane, block her Q. In fights, she will always ultimate thus making her useful in some way.
He scales too good, and there's nothing you can do to stop it. You can't build on-hits like IBG he can, so you're pretty much doomed.
Requires fast reaction time and positioning.
Position well and she's easy to deal with in fights.
Ashe excels on catching people off guard, so let her push in.
The key to this lane is assessing the right time to spell shield. Free mana on traps on nice, but consider the risk of having no spell shield. Either way, you LAND on a trap? Block her empowered auto. She uses Q when you're stuck between minions? Spell shield. Later on, save your shield for her ultimate. It deals a considerable amount of dmg.
Jhin cannot bully you. He uses his abilities from a distance, which allows you to react quickly.
Spell shield after pull, not before.
You can spell shield the bomb explosion. Support should run exhaust versus her.
Block her spear throws when she pokes. In all-ins, you need practice to predict her execute.
Guardian Angel and now he's useless.
You can block his taunt.
Block his trail and he does no damage if you keep moving.
If he dives you from river, stick to the walls and spell shield when he uses his dive.
Nunu & Willump
You can shield his snowball, but it will still affect anybody else in it. You can't push in or he will camp you.
Buy executioners and consider QSS. He will always land his fear or ult if he's close to you. (you can't block both).
Whoever gets the advantage, wins the game. Block his poison throw in lane.
If he delays his knock up, you can spell shield. Otherwise, you get hit.
Ward. Ward. Ward. Block his ult.
She can force you to spell shield the wrong ability with timing on her e and arcane comet.
You get free mana from shielding his meeps.
Shaco support. Walk into his boxes for free mana. His point and click is easily to react to and even predict tbh.
It's fun to gain mana and health like crazy, but it's not really strong outside of match-ups like Ezreal.
Very good in specific match ups such as Yuumi, but otherwise she commits too much to trades that you cannot back up.
Poke and Shield. She's in a perfect spot where she's strong and not overpowered.
Great pick versus Pyke, however becomes a target herself. It comes down to e usage, which is often limited.
You don't always want to fight the person it hooks.
You basically do what it does and is weak because so.
Sivir's worst support. Let him roam and find use somewhere else.
Controversial, but I think lux is decent at what she does: Shield and burst. As long as Lux lands her Q, you should too.
Your niches overlap, so it comes down to her usage of q. In match-ups like Vayne, it's crucial to save her q for peel.
Her Q range is a bit short, making her vulnerable. It's also incredibly telegraphed.
Thresh is great for everyone. Engage and Disengage.
Great vs melee supports with predictable in's.
She doesn't really stand out on her own. But can enable you when you're in a very favorable matchup.
What Sivir lacks in damage, Pyke makes up with his execute.
Not bad, not good.
He has his niche for blocking projectile heavy teams. It sort of overlaps with spell shield usage, so it depends on the enemy team.
He's a free guardian angel at the cost of having no damage or utility.
The nerf to her shields devastated her. Lux fulfills her role better as you already have speed-ups on Sivir.
Theoretically he can group enemies together, allowing your w and q to excel. Depends on team comp.
She can't do anything if the enemy get up too close.
Champion Build Guide
Waveclear- Sivir can effortlessly clear waves with her abilities.
She can further upgrade her clearing potential with storm-razor and stattik shiv.
Safety- Her spell shield interactions allow her to gain favor of most trades and ganks.
AOE Damage- She is able to effectively hit multiple enemies and "extend her range" with her ricochet, her w-ability.
Auto Reset- She is able to auto reset with her w-ability.
Speed- Her speed (passive and ult) makes up for small attack range.
Weak dueling potential- Damage wise, Sivir only has her Q and one reset. Her steroid is locked into her ult and only works while ricochet is up for the three attacks it does.
This is offset by her aoe-damage during teamfights, and where she really shines.
