I will try out eve mid and get back to you tomorrow. any tips on when/how to roam?

Obviously once you hit 6 you should start to roam, but if you can get a good wave lvl's 3-6 your w is very good for ganks, eve is made as a jg so she is made to gank. Wave management is very important for any champion that wants to roam. Basically you want to miss the least amount of minions as possible so usually only once your wave is pushed under their tower.

Also sitting in lane invis and ganking your own laner will make them unsure if you are roaming or just sitting patiently waiting for them to over extend, giving you better roams.

I tried it and early game went pretty well the waveclear is pretty good. A thing I noticed is that against other assassins pre 6 I died a lot without my ult and invis so I had to play defensively. I did gank my own lane but then they started to just put control ward in lane and use oracle lens which made me sad. Roaming was pretty fun tho thanks for giving me fun idea to play. also galio was my toughest matchup idk why.

Very important to know each champions power spikes and how to play around them. For example Talon's spike is level 2 cause he can get 3 stacks quickly on his passives so play aggressive till then and then only trade with him if his w is on cd or you can get a good charm off. Your w is really good for zoning. I will often w them when they want to go for a cannon so they either take my full combo or give up cannon, sometimes both. Galio has mr built into his kit and he has good cc to lock you down. I bring cleanse for his taunt and just try to avoid his e if possible, but he is a good counter and can follow your roams well.

Do not clear every pink ward. A pink ward you can dodge is better than a pink ward you dont know about. It makes the enemy feel safer and they are less likely to place another one if they already have one down. Very common for them to pink the brush next to the lane. dont clear it and just go around it. Place a ward in the pixel bush tho so you can still have vision. Also communicate this to your team if you can.
