On thing I wonder is the maxing for Q first though, I got a lot of hate on my when I posted a guide maxing out Q first, and I must say I maxed W first after that and found it pretty good.
With Q you will be able to poke more and take long distance creeps earlier, however with W maxed first you can farm good too (higher dps + short CD) it is also fairly good ranged, and if you really get in trouble early game vs a gank you can always shimpo out. Also as soon as you reach level 6 I love to jump in on my enemy and do a Q+E++W+R combo, sometimes killing the enemy and sometimes just getting them low, W has a much better damage output for this.
I did not vote by the way since I don't see it as a very good guide but not as a bad one either so I think it's rated okay like this
Please don't downvote out of stupidity.
Yea, maybe I should do some more work on guide design but I'm not quite sure what I should do to make it better. I feel like no matter what I do to it, it will still be a block of text just in a different format, because the information in here can only be explained through such a way.
But I'll look into ways I can make it easier to read. :)
+1
I'm not too worried about my guide looking pretty, as long as the people who really want the information can find it, and I think I have it organized enough with the proper sections and headers for each section that people can find what they want easily enough.
I'm a little confused though, why couldn't you comprehend my guide? It doesn't seem poorly organized to me. There are the section links at top, each section has a title that explains itself well and each section has subheaders to explain each part of the section. Then the information.
But to be honest, I don't agree with your build orders.
I could see rushing Abyssal being alright, but that would only be situational-- say if you're having trouble against your enemy AP mid and the other team is starting to build MR. Otherwise, I think that Rabadons is still better to rush for the burst damage.
Rabadons gives more burst and damage, and generally by the time I have it built the enemy team has little to no MR being built that early. If they were though, abyssal could work. Even so, I think Rabadons still gives more damage.
Hextech USED to give more damage early on Katarina than Rabadons, but that was back before Gunblade nerfs and Katarina changes. Now, I usually hold off on Gunblade for awhile to better counter build my opponents.
But I'll experiment some with rushing Abyssal Scepter and give it more of a chance, and let you know on my findings.
