when it comes to runes, i picked the 3 crit chance quints because this build requires you to have 100% as early as possible, with 2 items and full rage with these quints you get 100% crit. you may now check mark this requirement off our list. then the basics for an ad attack champ, lethality marks, armor seals and MR gylphs. makes sense
i usually start dagger and refillable pots, as i mentioned in runes, you build PD and Shiv to give you a combined crit chance of 60%+ 5% from runs which gives you 65% base and 100% with full rage. after this you build ICEBORN GAUNTLETS. no you say, are you crazy and just ......WHY, let me tell you it gives us a good chunk of armor, it gives 20% cdr and a slow from our spin and more burst, followed up by the black cleaver, for armor pen, health and to complete our 40% cdr goal, this is our core and turns tryndamere into a tanky, burst busier who can still blow up squishys. i then get sterage's gage to increast my burst and give me a nice sheild and either the Maw or Scimitar depending on how much cc im facing for MR, Yes you do lose raw damage but you now have a champion who can better work with your team, who is no longer a one hit wonder. remember despite the toxic players you come across, league is a team game, and this trynd is a team player
get q first, for heal and ad, helps you tremendously in lane then get E, E is your EVERYTHING in this build and the whole reason why building ICEBORN works. your spin normally has a long cd 13 to 9 seconds depending on rank. but you built 100% crit and with your core items have 45% cdr. its all in the fine print. every time you crit on a champion you take 2 seconds off your CD, with your 45% cdr you will basicly spin every 2-3 seconds, which means you spin, you auto, proc iceborn, you slow, you hit them until you can spin again. you can engage and disengage with ridiculous ease, then grab r when you can and your w last because why not.
now you should be able to understand why this works, and yes you won't have the raw damage crit infinity trynd has, but you trade that for surviablity and versatlity. can can still blow up squishys and handle most tanks. if you want, you can switch out iceborn for trinity or even lich bane and go ap and still get good damage as long as you keep the 100% crit and get at least 30% cdr they do work, and because your spin is on such a low cd they team fight better then infinity trynd, but suffer from the same survivablity issues. with my recomended build you also empower your rage, once gage procs you gain damage with 25% to base ad, with Maw you gain 20 extra attack and lifesteal and your q gives you bonus damage for missing health and you should have full rage while enraged so for that 5 seconds you also have 100% crit. the synergy is astounding and brings a bit more depth to a famous auto attack champion. point and click has never been so much fun :)
