Hi there, I just recently updated the guide but I would prefer duskblade over prowlers for me personally. Assassin Jarvan would prefer Duskblade over Prowlers since most of his damage is in an Area of Effect and you can get multiple Duskblade Procs in these fights. Also the duskblade passive combines well with his passive for a strong auto hit.

Crucial error in the guide. In the "Hard Matchup" section, you reffered to Rek'Sai as a "he". This is unacceptable, and I demande to see your manager on the spot!

great guide tho

Manager here, sorry for the inconvenience, I'll be sure to reprimand the writer for his failure to perform the functions of his position. Unfortunately he is the only writer of this guide so we can't fire him. Will get it fixed right away!

thanks for the read sir

I have a question. I saw Nighoggs video on why you shouldn't take Black Cleaver and instead build Titanic or Iceborn. For me I do cinder > titanic > situational item/gargoyle but I feel very weak and I can't take a lot of dmg and do a good amount. I was wondering when you would take titanic and iceborn?

In my opinion, I think Iceborn Gauntlet is a terrible item to build on Jarvan. The stats that iceborn gives him is very useless when it comes to teamfighting. Iceborn doesn't give any good stats other then cdr, what he really needs is health to be a frontline and black cleaver gives the same amount of cdr but with health and attack damage and scales better as the game goes on. Jarvan becomes really squishy and doesn't do enough damage to justify buying iceborn. I do think Titanic Hydra is a decent buy on Jarvan but I dislike building Titanic due to how costly titanic costs compared to black cleaver and because you're not looking to clear waves, but it does fasten your clear a ton. I think if you were to go a more bruiser tanky route, I would recommend building Cinderhulk into black cleaver into titanic hydra. This allows the cleave passive to stack black cleaver shred. I wouldn't recommend iceborn but as for titanic I think it could be situational and I'll look to add it in my guide. Thanks for asking!
