You're probably thinking, who is this guy and who is he to tell me how to build Nocturne?
Now, you're right. I'm no one, and I'm not even ranked. However, I do play Nocturne a hell lot, and I believe that he is insanely strong in the current meta now. I'd like to think that I'm half decent with Nocturne, and he's come to be one of my favourite champions. If you're looking to master Nocturne, then this guide isn't for you as I doubt I'm the best Nocturne player around. However, if you want to learn how to play Nocturne, then I think I can help you out.

PLEASE NOTE!

If you choose to run the Maw, Zephyr, BOTRK build then Warlord Mastery is worth getting/maxing as the bonus AD will be considerable! However, if you prefer Banshee's and being more tanky, then get a point in either Butcher, CDR, Spell Weaving or Dangerous game as they are all viable! PLEASE DO NOT GET POINTS IN WARLORD IF YOUR TEAM NEEDS YOU TO GO TANKY!

As Nocturne jungle, there is only 1 major rule you must abide by.

NEVER NOT DO ANYTHING!

Whether you're ganking, farming, recalling, always be doing something! Never be idle. The key to Nocturne jungle is accomplishing as much as you can as fast as possible. Especially with Feral Flare, you MUST always be doing something. Whenever your ult is up, try and get a good gank. IF your lanes are doing well, let them be and keep farming your jungle. If all goes well, you can get your feral flare by ~16 minutes ( not very sure myself but I've done it by 16 minutes ). Then, once you get your BOTRK you can start to stomp on people.

  I run 3 AD Quints, 7 AS Marks, 2 AD Marks, 9 Armor Seals and 9 MR Glyphs.
  I do this because this combined with my standard build grants me maximum attack speed and it also synergizes well with Nocturne as a whole.

Good item on nocturne, provides lots of early game duelling potential.

Core item, is a must.

Insanely strong item on nocturne. My go to carry item for him, get it for almost all my nocturne games.

Essential for nocturne jungle.

Extremely strong item.

Good defensive capabilities.

Good defensive capabilities and gives lots of attack damage as well.
