Well, okay i'll add one in, but this is just because i only get it when i need it and thats like 1/15 games... and my reason to not take Last Whisper second is: there is no specific purchase order in my guide, u can change it to what you prefer urself.

As always, guides are supposed to help people out by giving the most optimal build possible.

Now of course there is a decent margin for personal preference within builds, but you have far crossed that line and just went to the "this is just plain stupid" side.

Why do you think pro ADC's still run defensive items with their top-notch supports? Because a support is only going to do so-much for you to survive. He can't literally save your *** 100% of the times against heavy crowd control or assassins.

But defense items are for the upcoming late game and you missed the point about making a guide when talking about your premade.

Note that this is MY way to build Varus. The no defensive item is because i play botlane like always with my best friend and i never actually needed to have one.

Your first back purchase can be B. F. Sword too if you're able to spend that amount of money. Black Cleaver and Runaan's Hurricane aren't worth mentioning and Ignite is suboptimal - Heal is the way to go.

Overall a very sub-par guide. Lifesteal quints are outdated, build path is quite bad and heal > barrier overall.

Nice guide but I have a few suggestions for your build.

Last Whisper is a better second purchase than Phantom Dancer. As Varus you want to do as much damage with Piercing Arrow as possible and the stats of Last Whisper will help with that a lot. Also, you will pretty much always have to buy a defensive item. Varus has very low movement speed and no build in escape so you need something to help keep you alive longer and make you less easy to dive. Banshee's Veil is strong for this, so it would be better to include that in your main build than Runaan's Hurricane.

The thing with the hurricane is that yes you get to do decent damage to multiple damage and apply blight stacks, but it's heavily outclassed as an attack speed item, and has no other place in your build. BT, IE and Last Whisper are mandatory and that only leaves the rarely replaceable defensive item and Phantom Dancer, the better AS choice due to it's massive critical strike chance.
