Ad eve is... i really wont say.

hybrid is semi viable (at least more viable than ad) but it's still pret bad compared to AP.

I don't really think you guys realize how scary that little blue mother effer can become with hextex gunblade and trinity force. Even though listed builds are bit expensive, it is not like you are required to buy all of them before game, it is just a preference items to buy in case the game tends to drag for a long time. But I do think you should try to build hextex gunblade or trinity force early before frozen mallet or phantom dancers and maybe even add brutalizer. (btw i'm more for a hybrid, with side of ad eve)

Let's prove who is right:

Auto attack: Scales 100% from total AD and 5% from AP, dealing physical damage
Q: Scales 50% bonus AD and 45% from AP, dealing magical damage
W: Scales from nothing
E: Scales 50% from bonus AD and 50% from AP, dealing magical damage
R: Scales 1% from AP as percentage damage and 0% from AD, dealing magical damage.

The average lvl 18 bonus AD for an AD champion is ~ 250
The average lvl 18 AP for an AP champion is ~ 600
The lvl 18 base AD of Evelynn = 107,4

AD
Auto attack: 357,4 (or 929,24 when critted)
Q: 125 bonus damage
E: 125 bonus damage
R: 0 bonus damage

AP
Auto attack: 107,4
Q: 270 bonus damage
E: 300 bonus damage
R: 6% extra damage based on enemy current health

Conclusion
AD obviously wins with auto attacks, and AP obviously wins with spells.
But, since Evelynn is not auto attack based at all, AP is the better choice for her.

But keep your hopes up, unusual things are very fun and interesting :P
You can work this out, keep practicing and practicing, keep your build up to date, write a nice story around it, and Meiyjhe might approve ;D

I'll tell you exactly which change broke AD Eve post-remake.

It's the change to her stealth.

AD Eve faces the problem of having to walk up to people and kick them in the shins. Pre-remake, she was able to sneak right up to them, but post-remake, she can't because of the reveal radius. Sure, she can deal a lot of damage when very farmed, but getting there is a challenge.

Pretty much any melee champion makes a better AD character than Evelynn. Isn't to say she can't to it. As stated, she just isn't very good. It's not even opinion. It's pretty much obvious if you look at the numbers of her abilities as well as her base stats (which are terrible).

While most of her abilities scale off of AD regardless of what you think, awful auto attacks are your opinion. I've played Eve both AD and AP and while her AP burst is superior, it isn't enough to carry AP Eve through mid- to late-game teamfights. Plus 1v1 AD vs AP, AD Eve wins.
Even so, it's all a matter of opinion. I really enjoy playing Evelynn and she works well with an AD build. If you prefer AP that's cool, just don't rag on be because my opinion is different from yours.

While I think some of her abilities scale off of ad, her auto attacks are awful. You can do more damage with ap, and your abilities as a burst assassin rather than a sustained physical damage auto attacker. I'd explain further but I don't feel like it.

First off, sorry for not coding most of the guide. I wasn't willing to put the effort into coding a guide before I had a chance to gauge people's reactions to it.
Second, my apologies to bellpepper and everyone else looking for the lane to play in. I was up all night writing and left out a few things, but I will update the guide to include some of that.
And Dragon20217 and Laggermeister, it would be really nice to explain why you think AD Eve isn't any good instead of just saying she is because she is and downvoting.
