I may not be a wizard, but I have a gun.
The manareg glyphs are a thing of personal preference- so is choosing to go more into def / utility tree.
As you explained why you did that, that is totally ok.
I prefer going IE before BT if I have the feeling that I am not doing as good in lane is I wanted, or if I have the feeling the game could drag itself longer then awaited, but again: personal preference.
