Do you think Hexdrinker/ Maw of Malmortius is a good item on him? It gives CDR and the magic shield can really help vs bursty mages/AP comps. I just don't play GP enough to know the answer for what really does work on him or not.
Good guide though, I'm excited for you to add more :)

I think that Maw of Malmortius is a good item on GP, maybe Hexdrinker alone too. But normally you have no space to buy it. So when you buy it, you should sell your boots for it, so you will have equal what you do 45% CDR.

I liked reading your guide as you clearly have an insight to how to play a farm-focus Gangplank. When reading your comment about midlane being safer, I was a little confused. As mid is so prone to ganks from either side, it seems like a lane that would be pretty unsafe...

What does a typical end-game Gangplank build look like? You could add one to the cheat sheet for new GP players :)

Cheers,

Thanks :)

The thing why midlane for GP is safer than toplane is, that he has no real escapes. Normally, the jungler or the midlaner has CC (GP has it too, with his barrels) so you can orange it. you need preperation for your escape toplane, you need to prepare a barrel to gain extra movement speed, when you Q it (or you have your passive up and have to go in someones melee range, which is dangerous). And the point why midlane is safer: It's shorter. You have the same exact thing midlane, but the lane itself is much shorter. The tower distance is shorter. If you are getting dove: Orange and just run to the next tower and hope they don't catch you. You cant do that toplane, because they WILL catch you of that higher distances to run.

And yea, a full build GP example, forgot that, sorry. :O I will add it. :)
