Deny him positioning.

Ah.. I thought you meant using it after he begins the channel, hah.

Question..

"It is meant to survive spikes, such as Nunu's Absolute Zero (per chance your Light Binding is on cool down). There are plenty of situations that warrant the use of this unique active. Don't underestimate it."

What is your snare supposed to do against absolute zero?

Deny him positioning. It's a 2 second root. Many Nunu's will run in and try to absolute zero an entire team fight. If you can root him before he gets positioned then your team can focus him down. It depends who on their team is priority and who you need to keep off your team.

Thank god, someone who actually has at least some vague idea of how to play lux. I can't believe I had to go through four other, higher voted guides to find one that wasn't stupid. Jeez. You get an automatic upvote just because none of them deserve it.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it! I haven't had to a chance to play Lux since the update but I'm hoping to soon so I can see what I'm going to do about the stacked Philosopher Stones. Probably just grabbing one and then the codex would be sufficient.

Nice guide - completely agree with everything said here apart from the odd thing!

I'd recommend stating that a Thornmail might be good if the enemy team has an AD carry (E.G. Trynd) that's doing very well - Thornmail isn't JUST for tanks!

Ha, yeah you're right. I actually thought about that when I was making it. I removed that bit since I had in the past taken Thornmail when needed.

Very Nice guide, made me try lux 1st time and i pwned them all ;D

This build has an amazingly high sustainability. It's capable of laning/ganking/supporting an extremely long time and really only needing to back when needing to purchase. I like how you rushed the CDR but still had enough Mp5 to be able to support constantly being aggressive or defensive with your teammates. Well done. Some more visuals would make it easier to read but other than that great job.
