Well done for your guide bro! But I just have a question: don’t you think that Heimerdinger is a very weak midlaner/toplaner? I feel like he’s not very effective during laning phase + teamfights and has low damage + hp. I want to have the opinion of a Heimerdinger main to know if it’s just my point of view or not.

He shines when he can land his grenades within 3x turret range.

Other than that he's pretty useless I'd say.
Great champ for baiting out lanes to keep people from farming.
I wouldn't take him to top lane in the current meta he's too squishy.

Do you think i can take this build toplane as heim as well or do you think the bruisers are to hard to deal with top?

I would take this against anyone who doesn't have a defensive kit, namely tanky-bruisers and sustain champs who have health mechanics.

This would be good against people with close range engage sets, specifically those without major escape abilities or on-target abilities!

one note while you saying its for s8 2018 did you take in concideration that the runes and amsteries will be removed at that time xD so you better edit the tittle and make it 2017 S7 maybe better cause players might ignore ur great explanation and never try the ****er bonger.

hi, i main heimerdinger since s3 and im lv.7 370k masteries but now after the reword i think that the abilities sequances you shown doesnt match because before we need to boost Q to be able to stack more turrets and now after the rework heimer cna stack 3 turrets so the Boost of this ability is not a big deal and i rather boost the missiles W because the stune cool down is fix now to 10 sec and they have unlarged its radius, so the W is better for me than the Q and stun is the last skill i'd upgrade it, the rest of all are good, just marks i go penetration magic instead xD but i'll try AD marks it works also to deal damage while ur between your turrets, just that i take flash and exaust not heal.

I don't know if it's as simple as all that.

Turrets bring massive sustain among other things:
1. High return for low mana output.
2. Ensures more CS through higher dmg AA's.
3. More consistent lane pressure through higher dmg A's.
4. Creates less pressure to hit with 'W'.
5. Appreciates the value of 'E'
6. Surprise element - a low damaging 'W' and only a single turret may give over-confidence to an enemy, but surprise!! Deploy bot / grenade.

Rockets, on the other hand, are more mobile and have greater range and control. Fan damage to multiple champs is easier and far more likely than from a beam, especially when that beam is programmed to fire simply whenever the turret reaches 100%.

So I would be inclined to think that where it's at seems good but ... it really depends on how mobile you need to be and whether you still need that sustain.

I would think for laning phase you would still at least want to prioritise 'Q' levels 2&3 over rockets but that's just my trivial analysis compared to your vast experience. And then there's playstyle preference... *yawn* I'm going for coffee brb *deploy turret* ;p

Yeah the changes to Heimerdinger have been pretty extreme over the years!
I love the new Dinger :D

It might feel kinda weird getting the lower dps from the turrets, but it's honestly a small sacrifice for a better kit. He's more versitile now and having 3 turrets at start makes things go way more smoothly.

Great champion! :D
