this is my first mage guide, so plz don't be to harch on me:D Anyways i decided to make ryze guide now that they made him more mana dependent instead of AP. So i always wanted to try out this hybrid build for someone and now i got a good champ to do it for. This build may wor for the most hybrid candidates. Even if Ryze is not a hybrid type of champ. I still think this would work quite well whith him.

Magic pen and some survivability. No brainer really.

More mana= more damage. Plus the CD reducton on the summoner spells is always nice.

The items i have choose for Ryze are alot of mana and some AP and survivablity. The manamune and Archangel's Staff give alot of mana, and in ryzes case also alot of damage. RoA also gives mana and AP and some much needed HP. Rylai's I think i don't need to say so much about. And Rabadon's deathcap is also always a good plus for a caster. Ryze will have insane damage cz of the manamune and Archangel staff's passives. The staff converts 2% of mana to AP and the manamune 2% to AD. So with some easy math, Manamune and Archangel staff gives about 2500 mana total, so just with those two items u get 50 Ap and 50 AD plus the 10% dmg u get from ryzes spell's of the your max mana.
