You're right about Clarity as I myself would never take it. However, at lower skill levels of play, there are people who might find use for it during their play. Not a smart Summoner Spell at higher levels, but I still thought it'd be worth putting it on. Maybe I should put a note stating this?

Thanks for the feedback! A lot of people are showing disapproval of Manamune as the last item. The reason I had it was for the Attack Damage per Max Mana passive it has to help Irelia to keeping getting stacks while other champs are done with their build as well as to increase her mana.
However, I am now reconsidering this as many people disapprove. I'm leaning more towards a Frozen Mallet or Black Cleaver.

Useless item to finish your build off with. If you're ever hungry for mana I'd suggest Chalice of Harmony, but only if you're ever up against a strong AP opponent e.g. Kassadin or Katarina - and only purchased on top of Hexdrinker.
There are just so many superior alternatives to Mananume. Besides, your rune page is all messed up anyway. You're building runes like a def-rune top lane Olaf, except Olaf relies on a single-target nuke (poke) for his damage during the laning phase + general dps - hence, can afford to go for defence runes; but Irelia is extremely reliant on those autoattacks and if you can't get the dmg/attack speed in you'll be feeling real weak.
Just my opinions. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
A lot of casters get Manamune early to compensate for quick mana consumption. I just felt that it wasn't worth stacking mana on Irelia early game since she's not a caster. She needs more sustain while incrementally adding Attack Damage. While many would argue that Manamune is only for early game, it works well late game in this build to help snowball Irelia while other champs have already completed their builds and all their stacks are finished. If you actually get to the point where you buy a Manamune (I find most games end before Full Build status), it well be well worth it as it prevents the need of Blue Buff (or just makes it that much better) while giving you some more Attack Damage that grows the more you auto attack.
It works surprisingly well!
However, if you find that you want to do more damage/add sustain/dispatch enemies quicker, grab Bloodthirster, a Frozen Mallet, or Black Cleaver as the last item! Personally I'd take the Frozen Mallet. I'll add these to the guide as optional last item picks!
