I agree with almost everything in this guide as far as itemization goes, though I do think that having anti-heal other than thornmail is best...for instance, against someone who heals, grabbing an early oblivion orb for only 800 gold instantly cuts healing almost in half, and chemtech is incredible if you are taking font of life, because later in the game, your big aoe slow procs font of life on multiple targets, allowing your team to cause full grievous wounds on them just from auto-attacking. It also gives you ability haste and mana regen, all pretty nice on bard.
