Introduction
Draven is an ADC, that is his main role, and is respectivly one the most damage out putting champions in the bot lane, and sometimes if fed enough, one of the most damage in a game. First lets say you need to leash, start your axes at the timer of 1:35, this will have you be able to proc both of your axes in lane and output so much damage in early game and also easy CS. And if you do not have to leash, sit in the second bush closer to the enemy tower, and when they come, proc your axe and attack them the most you can and still be able to get safe, usually it is around 1-2 attacks then run, that is what you do for a good start in bottom lane. For Draven axes click near where you want to go after you auto attack and run somewhere to have your axe(s) go in that general direction, the reason that this mechanic is so important is that you can bait out many attacks and also gain stacks of adoration. Adoration is Draven's passive that is in my personal opinion the best passive anyone has, the reason for this is that he can snowball a game so hard that he can just go out of control and get every lane pushed and also split push to the point where they need to send 2+ champions to get you, and even then, you can win and keep on pushing.
Now, this if you know the basic concepts, here is where the decision making comes in, which is one of the most important parts to Draven. Whenever you can auto attack the enemy champions (I prefer the ADC) to get them low, and it is so easy to out trade the enemy laners, due to the Q passive which just shreds late game. Always attack back when you get hit by the enemy, which will in turn always work out for you, unless certain match-ups are being done to counter you. Get as many axes as you can to keep them up and be able to stack your passive. Now the situations when to go in. If you are versing a Vayne or any squishy adc and they are around half hp (hit point, or health) and you both are in the middle of lane, go in, have your support go in and exhaust the enemy laner so you can do even more damage then the enemy, and even if you get exhausted you can still output more damage. It is an easy kill for you and the start of the snowball. Do this to any lane that you are versing, unless you have a Blitz or another CANCER support that will be able to just shut you down, IE: Nautilus, Braum, Thresh, Blitzcrank, Zyra, and Morgana. You may ask yourself "What about Sona? She is so OP!!" She is easy to turn on if you do one simple thing, flash out of her ultimate, then that is it, you should be able to be able to out heal her damage with your Warlord's Blood-lust, and even if you do not out heal her damage, you should have enough health to sustain to kill both the ADC, and Support. Also, have confidence, if you think you can get a kill and get away or get a kill with a lot of stacks and maybe die, JUST DO IT! GET THOSE STACKS CONSUMED! It will be worth since Draven gets so much more gold per kill than any other ADC, and even if they are only worth 50 gold, with stacks, they are way more than 50 gold. Also, this is the hardest part for people to understand, push the lane, always push the lane, and sometimes you shouldn't, but seeing that you shouldn't push the lane should be quite obvious. The reason that you want to have your lane always pushed, is because you want to be ganked, you want to be attacked, the reason for this is that it is almost always another kill, the reason for this is that it is more gold and you should always win due to your extreme damage output. The only way that this should not be done is that you are versing a fed adc that is fed to more of an atomic level than you, or if the jungler is super fed, or you are versing a extremely unfavorable matchup. IE Twitch and Nautilus, or Braum. And the last thing is that you should almost always get the first tower gold ALONE, easy 525 gold which is snowball material. This sums up the basic concepts and early game or laning phase, yet these are the items in order that you should get them: First, Youmuu's Ghostblade, you may ask, "Why Youmuu's Isn't IE better or even BT (BloodThirster) better?" The reason for this is that Draven has no escape and Youmuu's can be used to run and Auto Attack way more in a shorter period of time. Berserker's Greaves, and either Mercurial Scimitar, or Guardian Angel if the enemy has no CC, aka crowd control. and that does fully sum up the early game.
Here is for mid game, if you are ahead or tied with at least everyone split push, and put pressure on every lane and if you think you need help ask your support to help, since you should have a better chance to 2v2 or even 2v4 if you are fed enough, but remember, both have to be agro, no coward or dying is inevitable. By this time also you should own these following items: Youmuu's GhostBlade, Mercurial Scimitar,(or guardian angel as told in the previous paragraph.), Berserker's Greaves, and either Phantom Dancer, or Lord Dominik's Regards, and if it is possible to obtain Infinity Edge, get it as the last item which makes you full build for the mid game and most of the late game. These items will be easy for you to split push, and if you can group and win team fights, group, win team fights, and you should be able to easily win, so do that instead if that is possible. That sums up the mid game.
Now for the late game, where Draven is at his strongest point, or, my favorite point. The items that should be had are one of these four sets: The first set: Youmuu's Ghostblade, Berserker's Greaves, Mercurial Scimitar, Phantom Dancer, Lord Dominik's Regards, and Infinity Edge, also the Elixir of Wrath. The Second Set: Youmuu's Ghostblade, Berserker's Greaves, Guardian Angel, Phantom Dancer, Lord Dominik's Regards, and Infinity Edge. The Third Set: Youmuu's Ghostblade, Mercurial Scimitar, Phantom Dancer, Lord Dominik's Regards, Infinity Edge, and The Bloodthirster. And the Fourth Set: Youmuu's Ghostblade, Mercurial Scimitar, Phantom Dancer, Lord Dominik's Regards, Infinity Edge, and The Bloodthirster. Yet, you can switch out Lord Dominik's Regards for Mortal Reminder to apply grievous wounds if the enemy has high life steal, IE Swain, Vlad, Etc. etc. Now just stick with your team and win those team fights and shred the towers, that is the end for playing Draven.
Now Mid Draven, Mid Draven works the same as going Bot lane, yet you are alone, just play the same and just play pretty much the same since there isn't much difference, and really the only two big difference is that the Assassin Mastery shows, also you have only yourself to rely on which is very nice. Yet that is the only difference between the Bottom and Middle Lane.
The masteries that should be taken on Draven NEVER change unless you do a 1v1 as Draven which will be mentioned in the next paragraph. In the Ferocity Tree, go Attack Speed, Double Edge Sword, Bounty Hunter, Armor Pen, and Warlord's Bloodlust. In the Cunning Tree take Savagery, Assassin, and Dangerous Game, those are the masteries.
