Analysis: You must never forget you are Support. So therefore, the safest way to have damage output and support is to get this in certain order:
Rod of Ages +ap plus survivability
Cooldown Reduction Shoes
Soul Shroud +1 aura
Aegis +1 aura
---
At this point
---
1.)Go get Tank items
2.)Go AP
For tank, just go get spirit visage/force of nature/banshee's veil/guardian angel/thornmail/randuin's omen
For AP, Deathcap then Void Staff. The reason this is better than deathfire grasp is because Deathcap gives more AP. You dont need anymore CD reduction if you get 15% cd red. boots. since soul shroud 10% + shoes 15% = 25%, same amount you have with deathfire. Total fail. you will prob have like 350 ap once you get death cap. If you want to do damage, at this point you just need magic penetration, so get void staff. Since your AP is insignificant late game.
Please understand that deathfire grasp is not for Janna. But once again, the reason you are winning is because you know how to play the game. For example, I played DPS janna, 3/5/22. I played AP janna, 12/4/25. I played Tank janna, i went 5/1/28. Then support janna, 3/4/29. You can do any build and win if you know how to play. -> I made a Teemo Tank build on mobafire as a joke, but I still go average of like 6-7/2-4/22-27. Get my point?
Also, the reason i get so many damn kills is because after you learn to play dps janna, its pz job when you know you can do it. All about adapting. In addition, Janna has amazing atk speed which is why she can do dps janna. Do not forget that, you can auto attack and harass very well early game. In fact, I like to hurricane, slow, auto attack, flash, exhaust, hurricane, slow, auto attack -kill obtained-. Teach those scrubs a lesson when messing with Janna.
Agreed that the red runes should be changed out. Support options for Marks are terrible, but 9 runes for 1.5% CDR is almost nothing.
I think Aegis should come earlier in the build. It can be a game changer in the early team fights, because stats are so low at that point in the game. That Defense/MR boost to the team is noticable, whereas later in the game, its just another item. Also Soul Shroud took that nerf last week anyways... (not huge, but a nerf nonetheless)
2nd of all - Deathfire grasp ? WOW ?? Are you going to nuke or what ???
3rd - i think that you should change the red runes, with something that's actually called Primary runes, or if not find better Secondary red runes... Instead of the yellow you got i suggest you to put the ones with the hp per level, so you won't be so squishy. I don't get the point why do you have runes for mana, because i've played with janna alot myself and with other jannas who are pro, and they dont have such mana problems as you probably have..
I didn't mean to offend you and your build, don't get me wrong. I just wanted to point some facts and necesary things :)
This is the video Rezuit is talking about.
It's an awesome build, but you didn't come up with it.
I don't mind Flash on support Janna that much. I don't think it contends with Clairvoyance or Clarity, but Flash + Monsoon can be a devastating surprise for an enemy team, throwing them all way out of position. Great way to pin enemy champs up next to your turret if they get too close, as well. I think it deserves an upgrade to yellow, heh.
The AP ratio on Monsoon is actually quite good too. The +35% AP bonus is added every second for a grand total of a +140% AP bonus. With your build here, thats probably an extra 400 HP healed on everyone when you drop a Monsoon.
