The problem with Rylais is you have to land some magic attack to get a slow, and most of your attacks simply aren't. Since Leap Strike is so slooooow to deal damage, and doesnt stack your Ultimate, all you want to do is autoattack, spamming Empower. But that you can only do every 4 seconds, and your every third attack will be magic. But the second the slow wears off on your victim, you wont be able to get additional strikes in ... thats why i favor the Mallet.

But in all honesty, in none of my Jax games the enemy team even lasted this long.

:), you like my guide! :) Thank you. My only comment is on the frozen hammer. I like the rest of the guide but frozen hammer trips me up. Mostly the fact that I think it's an overpriced paperweight. Leap and empower mean that Rylai's Sceptor is the better choice. You get better nukes, same hp practically thanks to the passive, and your burst damage increases. (I have had too many kill stealer teammates) Also the stun now freezes ppl as well. Double bonus! Anyways, that's all. Great guide and best of luck to you. :)
