Here's a video to make things easier, feel free to read the stuff below here though.
I've never made a guide before so I'm not sure how to add fancy pictures in a nice way... so I'm just not going to bother.
I take Armor Pen runes because armor pen is important. I don't know why you would take anything else.
Armor seals are essential for jungling.
Attackspeed is good for your glyphs, you can also elect to use CDR. Both will work fine.
I prefer flat HP quints because it makes your early game a lot stronger and doing well early game can be extremely important for nocturne. If you don't want to use the HP quints feel free to use ARP ones.

I run a standard 21/0/9 mastery. You need the points in Awareness to level up quickly in the jungle. I take good hands because you're a melee dps and you WILL DIE. Dying is part of the game, it happens. 6 extra seconds of being alive can be the difference between keeping a tower and losing a tower.
Alright, this is the main point of the guide. It is very, very, very important to read this. So here we go.
Alright, the route you're going to follow is this:
A. Cover the lane if someone needs to go back.
B. Return to the jungle and do steps 1-3.
C. Return to base and buy necessary items.
Refer to this poorly edited image if you are confused (yes, I stole it from a different jungle guide get over it).
Why are those good ward positions? Because they give you vision of an important creep objective and they allow you to see the RAMP. Being able to see the ramp is very useful because it gives you a better idea of where people are going.
The JUNGLE ROUTE
Alright, the route you're going to follow is this:
1. Wolves
Don't use a potion.2. Wraiths
Hit the blue one then smite it and use a potion.3. Mini Golems
Use a potion when you start the fight, and when you finish the fight.4.GANK BOTTOM LANE (or top if you're purple team) or WALK TO BLUE BUFF
This part is ESSENTIAL and what separates this guide from other guides. You will NOT be returning to base. You will be level 3 and ready to gank after killing mini golems. If there are no ganks available
Repeat steps 1-3 and return to base to buy a bloodrazer. If you successfully gank
Figure out your situation based off you hp. You can either:A. Cover the lane if someone needs to go back.
B. Return to the jungle and do steps 1-3.
C. Return to base and buy necessary items.

This section is just to explain why I level W before E.
W is better.
No, but in a more serious debate here. The cooldown reduction and attack speed is better than the .25 seconds of CC. If you're the only person who can throw out a hard CC then your team is probably going to have some problems. Your role shouldn't be to put out CC it should be to put out damage and maxing W first will help you do a lot more damage in less time.

Alright, keep in mind that the item purchase order of this guide will vary based off how well you're doing.
So, 100% of the time you will purchase a cloth armor and 5 health potions to start. There is another guide that will tell you to get a vampiric scepter with this jungle route.. don't do that, it sucks.
Basically you're going to buy wriggles and berzerker greaves as your first two items no matter what, so I'll just skip explaining that. Let's get to the main stuff:
If you're playing and getting fed, you've gotten first blood and a few other early kills. You're going to purchase a B.F. Sword. After the B.F. Sword you can rush an Infinity Edge or just go avarice blade -> youmuu -> I.E.
If you're playing an average game and not getting fed, you're going to purchase an avarice blade. Why avarice blade? Why not brutalizer? GP5. Derp. You're getting Youmuu eventually so might as well get that extra GP5.
That's the hardest decision you'll have to make: choosing to rush B.F. Sword or get Avarice Blade.
At this point you're going to have to start analyzing your deaths. If you aren't dying, continue to get damage output (Depends on what you're against really. Check the last 3 items for "situational" items. AKA: Madreds for HP tanks, Last Whisper or Black Cleaver for armor tanks). If you're getting nuked by casters start working on that Banshee's Veil. If you're dying and the fights seem to be ending shortly afterwards, buy a Guardian Angel.
Also, be sure to be buying Wards and Elixers as you need them. As the jungler you should be warding key points on the map to maintain map control for your team. Especially if you get first blood.

That's basically all. Nocturne is an awesome carry and one of my favorite junglers. Please be sure to check out my website http://www.gamercore.net and rate this guide + if it helped you.
