There's so much information, why u choose which item and why not. This guide had a massive influence on my playstyle.

I've tried this build in some games now, and I've noticed, that i always have a mana lack. So actually i try to integrate Archangel's Staff into my core build. Maybe because i start with boots instead of Dorans xD

I'm looking forward that u add Ahri to the mid lane enemy list, shes a hard enemy when she becomes lvl 6 -.-

Well, Graves.... the problem is that I played normal games with Karthus quite long time ago; now I am playing ranked only where you barely meet AD carry on mid lane. So to be honest, I never played sololane Karthus vs Graves because I havent played normal games with Karthus since Graves patch.

I love, love, LOVE this build, thanks for making it, butadd graves to the enemys of karthus in mid lane list, just went against him and his dash and burst dps TORE me up.

You are right. This guide requires decent mana management and precize work with Defile (in some cases you are not supposed to turn your Defile on at all). If you dont wanna care about that, Archangel Staff is probably great choice.

I prefer Arch Angels on Karth because I tend to be a little careless with my defile.(It does give a lot of ap btw and provides mana too) great guide

I really like when they say "noob ulti", "gay ulti", "just press R and win" etc.
What I hate is when my TEAMMATE picks Karthus thinking "just press R and win".... then I just helplessly watch how he cant use Wall of Pain, cant hit by Lay Waste, waste his mana by Defile at level 2 or run from teamfight instead of die there and kill many enemies.

Great guide. Thought I voted this up but I guess not. I love playing Karthus and although I hate dealing with players who rage about him or just in general, I still find it satisfying to play as him.
