Too low AP to be feared for your ultimate. That's a melee build, in my opinion, and it's too dangerous because everyone focus Karthus :)

Karthus is extremely easy to burst even with the survivablity gain from Rylai's, I won't vote until I've tried it, but it does look solid. Maybe you should consider putting in a team fight positioning section since the one time I played Karthus I had a major issue with getting chased and bursted even from about the distance of the cast of the wall and lay waste. You can't really use your aoe effectively til after you die in 1-2 seconds. I'll check it out and vote.
