Malady and triforce arent getting the best of Kassadin, not to mention that is is banned often and useing attack speed means you lose alot of the pure burst that kassadin can get so easily

Just a comment, but in your math, you said AP kassadin would only have 400-ish AP and will deal around 1500 DMG. You are forgetting that A fully built kassadin will have 500-600 AP(my personaly build normally goes to around 620), AND most kassadin's (the ones that I see at least) have a Lich Bane. Without counting Kassadin's W autoattacks, his total burst with 550 AP will do 2,262.5 magic damage. With 3 additional autoattacks using his W, his magic damage burst goes up by 255 for each autoattack hit. {550X.3)+90}<-- this is one autoattack with kassadins W. My conclusion, a Kassadin's burst is RQE followed by a few auto attacks, let's say 3. the total damage from this whole burst(magic damage only) is 3,027. now add in the additional physical damage from his autoattacks, and you get an additional 369(kassadin's AD is 123 lvl 18) totalling up to 3027 damage.
edit: I'm just saying, i'm pretty sure 3027 total damage will be enough to kill any squishy(adc/apc) because you don't see many carries with 50+ mRES or more than 2.5k health, btw, I'm not even factoring the new mastery spellsword.

I played him today hybrid, and this guide helps me so much... But i tried some things, so what about a rod of ages, instead of a banshee?:) and i changed the malady with a hextech gunblade... It helped so much in my playstyle... So if u think it will help more, then u can add it in the optional section, and if not, pls tell me why that i can fix those mistakes ;)

Let's take a very strong AP champion and make him useless, lovin' it!

Not the best Kassadin build. Not that you can't get it to win some lanes or 1v1s, but it's inferior to what AP/Burst Kass and other AP carries bring to the team.

If you want to play Kassadin like this you'll need something that steals Life
or you'll get something that makes you more durable
