I'm sorry but there is absolutely nothing being added by this guide to the already thousands of Katarina guides. Worse yet, you only provide one building path and it's terrible. Here are the why's:

1) You will not always get fed. Actually, people are finally getting good at facing Kata. Mejai's Soulstealer is terrible to get first unless you are snowballing hard and know the enemy team comp will allow for it to continue;

2) Haunting Guise is either a (nearly) first-buy or a never buy. It's stats are great for pushing your early game, they won't do much at the point you recommend the buy. By then, you might as well get Abyssal Mask;

3) The Hextech/Rilay path was perfect for old Kata, there are better paths for new Kata;

4) Your main skill to level is sinister steel save for occasions where you need to farm with Q (enemy won't push, but they counter you). W deals more overall damage and allows you to farm better;

5) Full dumb AP Runes is stupid, it makes your lane phase harder for no reason, unless you're against an easy opponent;

6) There is no added info on your guide. Nothing. Nada. Niente;


There is nothing OP about the build you posted, it's not even close to the best way to build Katarina.
