Ability Order
Voracity (PASSIVE)
Katarina Passive Ability
Overview
She is easy to kill, so be wary of her positioning and her health. It is highly recommended to go mid with a teammate, or have a tank on the team.
Katarina can dish out thousands of damage by level 16, and can hold her own in a 1v1. Good strategy will lead to victory with Katarina.
Start off with bouncing blade and try to rack up coins. It's not smart to get into Champ vs. Champ yet, so stay near your turrets. Once you learn Shunpo, you can do a combo of attacks to your enemy Champion, be be careful not to teleport too far.
Bouncing blade is great for the midrange combat that keeps your health at 100%. Rack up coins, and buy the hextechs. Make frequent retreats if you need to.
Don't bother going for turrets yourself; you won't do as much damage. Also, you have low health so you shouldn't be risking what little health you have to deal little bits of damage. Only when you know you are safe should you dive at a turret.

Some great techniques with Katarina's abilities can leave your opponent stunned (not actually) and even finish them off before they know it. Shunpo is great to surprise attack a Champ, and bouncing blade can deal some far range damage. Frequent useage of shunpo and bouncing blade can make a pursuit very easy to win.
Timing your Ulti can be a pain, but since it deals a lot of damage, you can get away with a missfire. The most important thing about using your ulti is that you use shunpo right before. If your team is duking it out with the other team, shunpo in the middle and take two or three Champions out before they have a chance to target you.
A great way to escape is using shunpo on your minions further back on the map. Also, you can use it on a champ that thinks they can kill you. Sometimes, champions will follow you past your turret(s) and will take damage. If you see that you can pull off a quick kill, use shunpo while running away and they won't know what hit them.

Once you're a high level and you've bought all the items you need, your a battling machine. Even though you can't survive a lot of hits, you'll be able to murk your opponents before they can hit you twice. While at your own nexus, you can push their summoners back with the Shunpo-Ulti combo, and when at their nexus, you can use the Shunpo-sneakattack in a pinch.
