Introduction
I really wanted to make a guide for this website and this is the champion i know the BEST (2014-Present)
She is not very easy to master, however you dont have mana, which makes you use your skill whenever you want it :) A lot of opportunities to outplay the enemy ETC.
Runes
Items
Gunblade + Shoes on magic pen. THESE 2 ITEMS ARE CRUCIAL FOR KATARINA
Third item you got a few options : Echo Ludens or Liandry's mask
Fourth item should be Spirit Visage which gives you HP + CD + MR and increases your healings by Hextech and Runes :)
Fifth item: Guardian Angel or Sunfire cape (or both of them if enemy got full ad)
6th:Rabadon
If u are playing against Zed or Cassiopeia ( maybe Teemo ) obvious thing is that you have to buy Zhonya :)

220-30mins

REMEMBER:
-You are assassin, your point of game is to KILL not to FARM like GP or Nasus
