W cancels all animation, I think. Perhaps you can w before e to speed up the combo (?).

You mean like a AAreset, where you cut the animation but still get the damage? never seen it, but maybe your thinking about spamming E as your Q animation starts? That feels like it cuts off the animation a bit, or at the very least speeds up your combo

Scarra also mentioned that you can cancel the Q windup, any idea how to do this?
